Friday around midnight...
Male dog, we don't know if it is a stray one or he has a family.
We found him in a village, where the number of stray dogs are huge plus many people allow their pet to walk around alone.
It was probably a dog fight with bigger dogs, his injuries are very bad.
Me and my husband were at home when we got informed about it and we rushed to the village.
He is at the clinic and we hope that everything will go well.
Update
We're so sorry to share Oscar, as we named him, passed away peacefully 2 days later at the vet. He was comfortable and warm under a blanket, and as the blanket has not moved, we know he slipped quietly away and would have felt no pain thanks to the medication.
It was not the ending we wanted, but it was dignified, peaceful and pain-free. Thank you to everyone for your kindness and support.
Not every rescue story has a happy ending 😔.

What a wonderful, caring vet to be willing to come in at such a late hour due to ermioni’s concerns, who herself, is a truly, wonderful human being to care for our abused and neglected pets.
That was very Chrtistian to see such caring people at that time of night 🌙 😴 many thanks 😊 to all of these people, the vet didn't even take off her coat.Praise to you all.l hope the dog made a full recovery and had a wonderful life.

@@supermario1982171 I believe in this case an animal caused the wounds so it was a dog fight. However I agree with you as it is so often the case people doing horrible things to animals.

The dog died
I am from the USA and I despise dog fighting, abuse, neglect or abandonment. If I ever saw or heard of such going on the police would be there because I would give them a reason to be called. Message to those who treat these pets like this , you should be treated EXACTLY the same way you endure pain physically, emotionally and mentally to these souls. These souls are a hell more loyal than you ever will be!

A kind and gentle rescue as always Ermioni, and a vet that cares enough to open up that late and treat the poor dog immediately, he has lost a lot of blood, I hope he survives before getting a blood transfusion. I would imagine the vet gave pain killers, antibiotics and cleaned the wounds for the night. It is good to have such an accomodating vet like that. Well done both of you.
