@@farazifj883 it is difficult for people who dont know anyone here, its the reason why most people visit dhaka aand leave, also if you havent noticed, not a lot of tourist come to bd so if they do come and see all the hassle to visit one place they might not come back. And bro north korea is a bad example, our goal should be getting more tourists than them but at this rate it will be a long time when that happens. Most tourist friendly countries dont have many restrictions

it's quite easy to go... and a mesmerizing place... but do visit it during end of october or winter.. and go there very very early in the morning.. it will be less crowded that way..
and also come to sylhet next time you visit... highly recommend place is the "tangua-r haor"

I went to bandabren while i was visiting Cox's Bazar It's so unreal especially these hill areas of Bangladesh there are many famous hills areas you can explore

Yes bandarban isn’t jus most beautiful district, also it’s the most remote place in whole Bangladesh 🇧🇩 & lowest population, density is only 88 persons per square kilometre

Chittagong hill tracts consists of 3 districts..Rangamati, Bandarban and Khagrachari… This area belongs to indigenous peoples of Bangladesh..
i am not super sure but its probably more of a data than a permission. it not really a ethnic tension, it kinda more like a border tension. as the hilly areas are pretty hard to navigate there are some bad people from india, myanmar as well as bangladesh who hides more deep into the jungle.
the permission is probably due to this reason as like many many years ago there was an incident when a foreign engineer got kidnapped and the kidnappers asked for ransom. he was rescued later.
