- Gunfire erupted at a Donald Trump rally on Saturday, sparking panic in the crowd and spattering the Republican presidential candidate with blood, before he emerged and defiantly pumped his fist in the air and was ushered to a waiting car.
Trump grimaced and grabbed his ear before security hustled him away, his red "Make America Great Again" hat knocked off. The Secret Service and the former president's campaign said Trump was safe following the shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania, about 30 miles (50 km) north of Pittsburgh.
Live video showed blood spattered on Trump's right cheek and ear.
Downing Street in the United Kingdom issued a statement about the shooting:
“We are shocked by the scenes at President Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania. We condemn all forms of political violence in the strongest terms and we send our best wishes to President Trump and his family at this time."

"Carry out some form of insurrection." Angus Walker needs to explain what he means by some form of insurrection: surely he ought to remember Trump admonishing the crowd to go and peacefully protest. It is people like Walker who are the problem. He distorts facts and in doing so betrays his true intentions. He also needs a remedial course in the use of English: he needs to consult a dictionary for the meaning of the word insurrection. His animus towards Trump is glaring.

@@robertcreighton4635 I search topics not channels. When I find a channel misrepresenting topics I call it out. Talk TV had the perfect opportunity to be truly independent, but the viewers voted with their feet, and most don’t see the difference between Talk and MSM in general. I hope they survive as all voices should be heard, but unless they drop the ‘let’s not get flagged by OFCOMM’ and show some real transparency, they’ll be a thing of the past as Britain wakes up.
