Hi. Thanks for the video. This is the best video on forms of separation for switchgears that I have come across. I have a question. For Form 4A type 1 and 2 the busbar separation is achieved by having insulated covering on the busbar as shown in the 7:00 mark of the video. But for Form 4A type 3, the image of the switchgear is shown and the busbar does not have any insulated covering (busbars are brown not black). Then insulated covering appears again for the From 4B boards types 4, 5, 6 and 7. Am I missing something here? Appreciate your advice please. Thanks.
As i said in video For 4A type 2 & 3 required solid insulation coverings ,this picture which i picked only shows the gland not shown the solid covering which is error. thanks for picking . Rest are ok . Thank you so much and appreciated for picking these narrow items.
Hi Akram can you explain is it your panels are form 3 type B . If so if your terminal units can separate with the help of plastic barriers. But issue is that your client may ask for type test reports .further to that We have to check any space available to provide segregation of terminal units To understand for more details contact your switch gear specialist. He can guide you
The main purpose of the form classification is based on separation of busbars and functional units the main purpose of this is safety . regarding Arc , As per type test requirement the keep the enough spacing distance between the busbars /terminal units. hope i answer your question

Is it possible to make form 3 to form 4 because we delivered some panels based on form 3 but client needs form 4 now. How to achieve form 4 now ?

Question: Can you have form 3b and 2b in the same enclosure? does that increase the arc energy?
The main purpose of the form classification is based on separation of busbars and functional units
the main purpose of this is safety .
regarding Arc , As per type test requirement the keep the enough spacing distance between the busbars /terminal units.
hope i answer your question
