The only other arm wrestler that has that kind of wrist and lower arm power is John Brzenk. John by far had the strongest hand and wrist back in his prime days.

Ive comeback to watch these wal matches after getting into arm wrestling years ago after watching pulling jon then went down youtube rabbit hole and finding devon larratt and jody doing wal and then finding all these great matches. I have to say these wal events are far more enjoyable to watch on tv than others that just has a stage. It must be because the crowd is so close and its the atmosphere. I know it's a late response, but getting injured during training is a complete fail. Apart from odd accidents, there should be no reason for you to ever come close to an injury of this matter during training. Training is to get stronger and maintain health, not get ripped up and destroyed by it. I would argue that competition is THE place to get injured. You are putting everything on the line and taking risks to win. Ron gave his 110% on that last round maybe knowing there is a chance for injury, but his will to win was bigger than his self preservation. That's a typical trait for any highly competitive top athlete.

The training he does is the key 🔑 alot of side pressure training...a lot!! Side pressure strength is the key from what i can see...Because Todd is even beating those heavy weights with his wrist and side pressure strength!! Crazy!!
