So nice to see you back Liz. Wow, you have been so prolific. Everyone of your projects are just fabulous. Your finishing is just perfection. Happy Stitching/Sewing.
Oh my goodness, this episode was full of so much inspiration. I love the idea of focusing on a specific designer for a month (Stacy Nash or Teresa). All of your sewing projects have got me wanting to sew more bags ❤ can’t wait until your next episode.
What a delight it is to have found you and your channel. I love all kinds of stitching and hope to revitalize my interest in crossstitch. I still have all the little projects that I had wanted to do, just need to put aside a regular time to stitch. Your stitching is lovely. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Thank you for sharing!!
Hi Lizzy, another inspiring episode! Thank you for remembering to talk about your sewing machine cover and for the link. I’ll definitely check it out. Also, I think the blue dress change you made on the Teresa Kogut pattern is gorgeous..Al 3 shades of blue work really well together. Wowowowow! Those bags! Love the line of fabric (love any of the French Generals fabrics) and each bag was so so unique. You are a beautiful sewist. Thank you for inspiring, encouraging, enabling and entertaining us! A woman of many talents ☺️ Have a great week…Suzette
So many wonderful finishes! I'm going to have to steal your concept of recharting the "we" in This is the Day. That looks so much more appealing to the eye!
Hello! Yes it did take a little math, I think I charted the "we" first and worked out what space was left at the end to make my "&" fit. Happy stitching!
Hi from the states. I had a penpal from New Zealand as a teen. I’d love to visit your country someday. Loved how you changed the lettering for This Is The Day. Definite improvement.
I love all your cute bags you have created too. I've made a large one for my Trike basket in front. Yes, I ride an electric Trike. I am stitching the blue bird in the Autumn book. Have a great day!
I love your videos. You have a go at everything & I love that. Your bags are beautiful, well done, I love making bags. Your quilt is lovely to, that bird panel is gorgeous. I also do quilts. But I’m currently in a crochet & cross stitching phase so my quilting has been non existent. Love all your projects. Look forward to your next video xx.
The unexpected visitor was a sweet surprise. Every project is lovely. The Birds of New Zealand panel is gorgeous. Mission accomplished in the inspiration and motivation departments. Your sewing skills are top of the class.
Thank you for sharing your lovely work! This is my first time watching your floss tube channel. I too am a stitcher and quilter so always happy to find a channel with both. Double trouble! I was fortunate enough to visit New Zealand just prior to the pandemic and had a brief time in Tauranga. It was our base to visit Rotorua. What a beautiful Bay and country you live in! I didn’t discover floss tube until later. It would have been fun to get information from a local on things to see and do. Maybe the next time?! I’m the house manager and food purveyor for Lizzy the cat. Formerly feral but named for Queen Elizabeth as she thinks she’s the queen of cats. She perked up when she heard Pixie Dust. Happy Spring to you in the Southern Hemisphere! 🪡
Hi Lizzy, your Stacy Nash finishes are so inspiring! She is my favorite designer and I have about 5 in progress and just finished Grace Bridges Sampler in Sampler September. Just love that you made your own spool for Bobbin. Your stitching is all lovely.
Hi Lizzy. I really enjoyed watching your Flosstube channel. I am an avid cross stitcher - Teresa Kogut, Long Dog Samplers, Blackbird Designs, Mill Hill kits and more. I have moved to Papamoa and keen to meet other stitchers in our area. I am also keen to get back into patchwork.
Hello! Nice to meet another crossstitcher. If you want to join the New Zealand Cross Stitch Facebook group, some of the locals do a monthly meet up if you are interested.
When your kitty 🐈⬛ told you he was there I thought one of ours wanting my attention 😊 So much inspiration and loved seeing this while visiting. Blessings and happy stitching.
Thanks Lizzy,I’ve watched from Denmark. Love all your stitching…..I think I might try the project folders as yours turned out so beautifully. Look forward to spending time with you again
Lizzy - this is the first of your programs that I have seen. I don't usually comment, but I must say I believe that the blue dress you put on your lady (instead of the coppery shade) improves that piece 1000%! It is SO much better with the blue. I know you said you like the oranges, but in this case it was a great choice! Looking forward to your next "visit."
Loved seeing all your projects Lizzy. Your Maggie Mae is just Gorgeous in Pinks, I’m still working on mine with a Teal Jacket. I’m also a big BBD fan. I recently finished Tree Tops and have started Merrily,Merrily We Welcome Spring. Your Project Bags you have sewn are just Beautiful, love all the FG fabrics. Happy Stitching . Maree ❤🇦🇺
Wowa-Pa_looza!!! Lizzy, I’ve been waiting patiently for another video & you did not disappoint … stitching is wonderful & your sewing projects are gorgeous!!! Love the French general fabric combos you chose for your bags … jan
Love your finishes. I’m thinking about doing the miss Hazel & Maggie May. I like the heart in the back to store scissors. Love it. I love blue, thinking about doing her in blue. I love hearts & birds. I’m making project bags for my cross stitch. But now I’m thinking about selling the projects bags. My sister thinks I should. But I’m not stitching when I’m making bag. Keep warm. I’m not looking for to winter here in Idaho, USA. Take care.
Yes do the Maggie May! She would look lovely in blue. We only have so much craft time don’t we, perhaps you could sew bags just one day a week. As long as you enjoy it is the main thing! Spring has arrived but it’s been very cold. So we now have blustery winds and a peek of sunshine. Happy stitching.
Hi Lizzy, Nicola at No12 stitch Co in Toowoomba Qld has the chenille, also an etsy shop based in Canberra (can't remember the name). Love your beautiful animal stitches.. think you have enabled me to do them all. ❤❤ Cheers Teri
Love your stitching projects! Your changes to some of the patterns turned out very nice. "we" in This is the Day suits it well. I really like the blue dress on She sights a bird pattern. I admire your sewing for all the bags, you are so talented.

You always accomplish so much. I think I enjoy the stitching most, even though I do want things finished to display. Love your intro! Are the flowers from your garden? Stunning! Thoroughly enjoyed seeing all of your finishes and WIPs. Love, love, love the embroidery panel… it’s going to be sensational. Where did you get it from? I don’t embroider or quilt… but that one has got me thinking i should give it a go. ❤
The Quirky Stitch.co.nz has the panel! (Free shipping!) the white blossoms are trees in our suburb, and we have a magnolia little gem, and the little flowers are pink rock orchid that my mum had. Thanks for watching!
You're such a likeable person. Could stitch Autumn all year, you and I both.! I loved the Quicker piece done in pumpkin Winkie Die Works? Thank you for sharing. I thought I heard you say you made those bags? Do you sell them? Do you have a website?
