I actually believe that Madara transplanted his eyes to Nagato Remember when Obito met Madara he didn't have his Rinnegan, he even said his eyes were loaned to another Madara has been using spare eyes since then, having only one in his socket when he met Obito He told Obito he liked keeping spare eyes around, some perhaps used for Izanagi like Obito keeps spare eyes in the future as Tobi and threatened to take his if he choose to die instead of helping him That's why when the Rinne Tensei no Jutsu revived him, he had no eyes. His eyes were in Nagato's, and when he died Obito took them As for Nagato it's unknown how Madara actually transplanted his eyes without the boy knowing It's safe to assume that Madara was keeping an eye on a child that could be the borrowed vessel for his eyes. When he find Nagato, an Uzumaki living in the Hidden Rain, he seemed a good candidate as Uzumaki have tenacious life Force and were close to the Senju clan That made Nagato the ideal candidate to hold his eyes for him and make use of him as a pawn to revive him So it maybe safe to assume Madara kidnapped Nagato when he's young or even a baby and transplanted his eyes with Zetsu's help
1) Madara died as an old man 2) Nagato was chosen because he was an Uzumaki, so he has huge chakra reserves. Enough to revive Madara using rinne rebirth jutsu.
To be said he was resurrected in his younger form and third hokage died at old age and got resurrected at his old age so i think madara actually died against hashirama and nagato obtain it by himself it's kinda confusing.

Vladislav Ivanov not the series states that nagato got the rennigan from madara...he implanted them without nagato or nagatos parents knowing of it. But yes the fact that he is uzamaki descent did help him adapt to the rennigan
To be fair it doesn't really makes sense, even though its canon, nagato simply didn't posses the rinnegan but literally has the eyes of madara, meaning they still acted like a mangekyo sharingan, nagato should had the susanoo aswell.

Andy lee yup , but it wasnt some random sharingan , it was his original sharingan in his left eye . Thats his personal eye . And his right eye was sacrificed for izanagi. So basically he took his left eye out in his laboratory implanted hashirama cells into him via with no eyes at all , and awakens the rinnegan which automatically grants him both rinnegan in both eyes even if he has no eyes , then around that time he sends black zetsu on a mission to implant them into nagato uzumaki .

Madara died in the possible timeframe to given Nagato his eyes. Remember Nagato is a bit older then Obito and Madara trained Obito, he was ressurected as a young guy cause Kabuto somehow enhanced his reanimation but he did die very old. I honestly don't know if this is a joke or you somehow missed that crucial part of the story. I can see why it has so many dislikes. Either way I'll give you one thing, yes Madara probably wasn't the one to give him the eyes cause he would have been spotted by people and probably recognized as Madara so yeah it was most likely Zetsu although it could have been Madara just not likely

Its simple Madara dies from old age but right before his death he awakens the rinnegan why he came back younger is still a mystery to me because its a fact that he died old not young. Anyways, before his death he gave both of his rinnegans to nagato. It was then Obito aka tobi's job to sway nagato to be bad. For everyone that don't really know, madara was the one who implanted his rinnegan in nagato at an early age, nagato didn't know about those eyes until he met jiraiya, so the only way to activate the rinnegan you either need to have Uchija DNA or Senju DNA, nagato had Senju DNA, so he re-activated the rinnegan after yahiko (his best friend) killed himself to protect nagato and konan

Umm no, Madara died of old age (I believe). He lived into probs his 70s-80s, as shown in the anime. though I can't remember how they brought him back to life in his younger state

Madara would have died and technically did, but, he put hashirama's blood/chakra into his wounds and awakened the rinnegan, after this he was connected to it(like nagato was) and was able to prolong his life. Madara was around even when yahiko died. Nagato was probably 20ish meaning madara was near hi 40s. He put in a pair of sharingan from an uchiha he probably killed, and, when he was young, put his eyes into nagato, who later awakened the power of the rinnegan. Madara finds obito, heal's him, and tricks him into becoming full of hate. Also keep this in mind, apparently, rin died on naruto's birthday

Evolving his eyes into the Rinnegan probably healed them. ORRR, Madara could have used it and then gotten the EternalMS from his brother after the fight. lol you must have the dna of both senju and uchiha to awaken rennigan. It doesnt work the way uchiha awakens sharingan. It is already said in the anime that madara implanted the rennigan to nagato when he was still a child. And madara is the only one who awakens the rennigam aside from hagormo because he implant some dna of the first hokage to himself to prolong hislife.
Nagato in his own story said he awakened it, yet obito said he gave him the eyes, at no point is this ever truly explained or shown to us. You’d think they would bother to address this in a more official way, but they never did. Truth is both of these story’s contradict each other, we shouldn’t have to come up with our own solutions to plot holes like “obito or zetsu transplated eyes into nagato” that was never specified. Dragonball writers leave plot holes all the time, it’s perfectly normal when writing such massive series.
The fact is that from what I've seen so far it's like that madara "founded" obito when he was like around 130 years old so supernatural but not millennial and that nagato is maybe slightly older than obito (maybe 10 years or so ) and that when nagato was a kid madara was around 120 years and was actually able to still do stuff, maybe for short periods of time but he had the help of white zetsu's and with the fact that black zetsu basically controlled him from juat before he was about to literally ragequit death with izanagi and from that on it was basically black zetsu show and black zetsu was able to lifehack the whole ninja world thanks to the power of madara cause IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT madara still had his rinnegan before transplant it to nagato so even if he was 120 he was a god alike man meanwhile controlled by black zetsu
No it was implanted we just don't know how cuz Nagato's parents were both uzimakis and no activate u need uchiha and senju blood. The uzimakis are distant relatives of the senju but Nagato didn't have any uchiha blood. How it was implanted will remain unknown but he didn't get it naturally
no one of nagatos perants were actually senju, and if you did any real digging you would know that because madara uchiha activated them and then implanted them into nagato he would of essentially had the uchiha dna from madaras original eternal mongakyo sharingan
I think Madara after gaining Hasshirama's chakra gave Nagato his chakra . Since Nagato is an uzumaki ; a clan that pocesses the same traits of the Senju cuz the Uzumakis abilities are better than the Senju clan in terms of stamina and Jutsus . So the Rinnegan would be awakened . Also Hashirama ;Naruto ; Sasuke and Madara were not the only reincarnations of Ashura and Indra.

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about the anime filler? One of the biggest reasons for them is because the anime moves quicker than the manga so they have to create a buffer. If you mean the content, it's the same content, but I think it's easier to understand what's going on in the anime or at least if the panels are coloured so objects are separated better.. There's been a couple times where I'm like "what the hell is going on?". Plus the anime has the benefit of sound & movement.
The answer is Obito. He met Madara's ghost after he 'died' and was working with him. Little known fact, Madara gave Obito some of Hashirama's DNA while he was unconsious. How else would he have known about the location of The Gedo statue and Hashirama's DNA/RNA location? It all makes sense.

With the powers of Senju + Uchiha you can obtain the Rinnegan, which controls The Gedo Statue. Madara got some of Hashirama's DNA during their fight and has it stored.
Madara tried to take the Ten Tails whole, but ended up taking its body without chakra. He got the body ( The Gedo Statue ) from the moon, which the Sage of the Sixth Paths made as a prison for the Ten Tails.

His mum is probably Uzimaki cause Kushina (naruto's mother) had red hair. His dad was probably an uchiha and through the death of his parents his eyes were born, the same process to get the sharingan.

He was working with black zestu. It was a similar case when black zetsu was manipulating Indra so that he could get stronger and gain the Rinnegan. That planned failed so he kept working on Indra reincarnates till he found Madara and believed he was the right one to achieve Infinite Tsukiyomi. However Madara gained the Rinnegan on his death bed so he had to manipulate obito so he could find a suitable vessel to inherit the Rinnegan and its powers because a normal person cannot use the Rinnegan without having Uchiha or Senju genetics. Obito even said it in the war that he was unable to use the two eyes.
Dude, there is no episode where you see Madara giving the Rinnegan to Nagato, Madara only appears in flashbacks about his fight with Hashirama and a flashback back in the episode 324 (where Madara is back), in anime, there is no episode that explains the Nagato's Rinnegan

the reason why nagato has the rinnegan is because his father was an uchia and his mother was a uzumaki and as we all know (uchia+senju=rinnegan) and the uzumaki clan has a relationship with the senju . however if they mate with the uchia their child will have the ability to unlock the rinnegan
I think madara or a accomplice put uchiha blood/DNA and when the men attacked his parents he was in a life or death situation, When in life or death situation, if you have Uzumaki and uchiha dna/blood you unlock the rinnegan, that all happened because of madara and/or his accomplice(s)

Well since it apparently was never said how or when he got madras eye's only one thing makes sense the rinnegan was actually suppose to be its own eyes and naruto's mom or even father where suppose to be one of the groups that could get it hence why it has its own name. But then the creator changed his mind and seeing is how the sharingun was also the other popular eyes the writer's love for both eyes and at the same time wanted a goku vegeta rivalry with naruto and sasuke need to keep them both on equal grounds so he decided to make the rinnegan the final stage of the sharingun but only limited to certain groups that are connected to hashirama. Which is also dumb cause it's only cause of the reincarnated spirits of his two kids or them possessing a chosen two to dead lock in an endless feud that was able to give one the rinnegan. But sasuke only unlocks it in one eye this was also cause of the love for both eyes that the creator wanted to be able to draw both and have an excuse to keep around. And while changing his mind completely forgot or didn't care to write a connection story to explain just half assed madara being alive thanks to zetsu and did the same thing to obito and giving us the true master mind of the whole story zetsu. Which with all his crazy abilities is also the only character that was never playable in the game. Kinda dumb. If anything the big reveal should of been that zetsu was both madara and obito the whole time and they never where even alive. And he was the one that gave madara and nagato the rinnegan. But lol whatever story got screwed up. Was it the writers fault or the publishers that wanted to keep bragging the story on and pushing for deadlines killing the free time to tie up loose plot holes.
Truth is that Madara or Obito or Zetsu has absolutely nothing to do with Nagato's Rinnegan.... It is my belief that Nagato was the genuine bloodline to Hagaramo himself... It is interesting this has to be the case, because he was from the Uzumaki clan, he did not ascend his eyes from Sharingan to Rinnegan... Instead he directly got the Rinnegan which means somewhere in the Uzumaki clan, the eyes was sleeping until it came down to Nagato... Konan was right when she claimed that Nagato and his eyes were the pride of the Village of Rain.. That their beatdown village was the one to give rebirth to the Mythical Rinnegan... In short sharingan can ascend to Rinnegan by borrowed powers like how Madara did, but Rinnegan itself does not need sharingan as a pre-requisite. Asura had the sage's body and im sure the eyes isnt something out of the body... Maybe the eyes werent as great as his father or brother... But im sure he was pretty much there... Plus having the sharingan is no good mostly cause it compromises the user's ability to judge a situation or an incident. For me this is the reason why Madara can never be as good as Nagato and will be a slave to his clan's curse....
Madara gave his rinnegan to Obito, because he gave one of his eyes to Kakashi, after obtaining the rinnegan, Obito found Nagato and gave his rinnegan to him, but when Nagato died, Obito asked Konan where did he put Nagato's body, in the end Konan lost to Obito and found Nagato's body and took back the rinnegan thumbs up if you think this is helpful :)

Orochimaru could put a card and get people when they were in their prime(it would probably make them younger) with Edo Tensei so I think Kabuto just made Madara’s body younger with the card he puts in the body,but after getting revived he should be older idk maybe your body stays the same after the card is put in the body

When Kabuto ressurected Madara with Hashirama partly in him, he made him look younger, and his DNA said he still had the rinnegan, that how Nagato got the rinneyan.
I think it was black zetsu because he was the child of the sixth paths mother/the brother of the sixth path and at the end were zetsu backstabs madara to revive his mother he says that he is the oldest before ninjutsu was created and that it was his plan to revive his mother since the sixth path and his Mother sealed his mother away
when i watched naruto the sage of the six paths said that uzumaki (senju) + uchiha = rinnegan and all the hairs of the uzumaki except naruto is red and the color of red which nagato have has some uchiha dna so that means the uzumaki's (senju's) that have the dna of uchiha what will happen is when one part of the family or whole rather will cause them or he/she to unlock rinnegan thats how nagato got rinnegan

The Rinnegan can be awakened by combining the chakra of Hagoromo's sons, Indra and Asura, in order to create Hagoromo's chakra. Madara implanted cell of 1st hokage to obtain rinnegan.(Senju+uchiha=Rinnegan) If thats the case then you can obtain a rinnegan by getting a senju bloodline and uchiha bloodline to perform marriage and their children will definitely obtain rinnegan cause the conditions are meant.

At that time obito was a child and when he growed up a little became teenager he unleashed ninetails on konoha. Jiraya was nagato and minato Sensei. Minato was at that time hokage and nagato was about teenager, saw the age difference between them, just like age difference between Naruto and nagato when nagato died. when obito become adult he met with nagato and wanted his rinnegan but couldn't so he manipulated him and used him and when he died took that rinnegan back. it was all Madara plan from start so that one day he can be revived that's why he gave nagato his rinnegan. You’d think they would bother to address this in a more official way, but they never did. Truth is both of these story’s contradict each other, we shouldn’t have to come up with our own solutions to plot holes like “obito or zetsu transplated eyes into nagato” that was never specified. Dragonball writers leave plot holes all the time, it’s perfectly normal when writing such massive series.

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about the anime filler? One of the biggest reasons for them is because the anime moves quicker than the manga so they have to create a buffer. If you mean the content, it's the same content, but I think it's easier to understand what's going on in the anime or at least if the panels are coloured so objects are separated better.. There's been a couple times where I'm like "what the hell is going on?". Plus the anime has the benefit of sound & movement.

Obito give rinnegan of madara to nagato it's in the manga you can't change it

the reason why nagato has the rinnegan is because his father was an uchia and his mother was a uzumaki and as we all know (uchia+senju=rinnegan) and the uzumaki clan has a relationship with the senju . however if they mate with the uchia their child will have the ability to unlock the rinnegan

It's been stated more than FRKING once that Madara implanted the rinnegan into nagato. he could've done it using zetsu.
I think madara or a accomplice put uchiha blood/DNA and when the men attacked his parents he was in a life or death situation,
When in life or death situation, if you have Uzumaki and uchiha dna/blood you unlock the rinnegan, that all happened because of madara and/or his accomplice(s)
your right nagato got the rinnegan because he was an uzamaki and madara gave him some of uchiha power so in a way he gave nagato rinnegan
the reason why Madara was resurrected young was because kabuto modified madara's body

Doesnt make any sense! 'Coz Madara died in his 90s, he was the one who saved Obito. In the show/anime there is an episode where Obito/Tobi says that he gave Nagato the rinnegan. There are a lot of clues but maybe there will be an episode about that...

Well since it apparently was never said how or when he got madras eye's only one thing makes sense the rinnegan was actually suppose to be its own eyes and naruto's mom or even father where suppose to be one of the groups that could get it hence why it has its own name. But then the creator changed his mind and seeing is how the sharingun was also the other popular eyes the writer's love for both eyes and at the same time wanted a goku vegeta rivalry with naruto and sasuke need to keep them both on equal grounds so he decided to make the rinnegan the final stage of the sharingun but only limited to certain groups that are connected to hashirama. Which is also dumb cause it's only cause of the reincarnated spirits of his two kids or them possessing a chosen two to dead lock in an endless feud that was able to give one the rinnegan. But sasuke only unlocks it in one eye this was also cause of the love for both eyes that the creator wanted to be able to draw both and have an excuse to keep around. And while changing his mind completely forgot or didn't care to write a connection story to explain just half assed madara being alive thanks to zetsu and did the same thing to obito and giving us the true master mind of the whole story zetsu. Which with all his crazy abilities is also the only character that was never playable in the game. Kinda dumb. If anything the big reveal should of been that zetsu was both madara and obito the whole time and they never where even alive. And he was the one that gave madara and nagato the rinnegan. But lol whatever story got screwed up. Was it the writers fault or the publishers that wanted to keep bragging the story on and pushing for deadlines killing the free time to tie up loose plot holes.
Truth is that Madara or Obito or Zetsu has absolutely nothing to do with Nagato's Rinnegan.... It is my belief that Nagato was the genuine bloodline to Hagaramo himself... It is interesting this has to be the case, because he was from the Uzumaki clan, he did not ascend his eyes from Sharingan to Rinnegan... Instead he directly got the Rinnegan which means somewhere in the Uzumaki clan, the eyes was sleeping until it came down to Nagato... Konan was right when she claimed that Nagato and his eyes were the pride of the Village of Rain.. That their beatdown village was the one to give rebirth to the Mythical Rinnegan... In short sharingan can ascend to Rinnegan by borrowed powers like how Madara did, but Rinnegan itself does not need sharingan as a pre-requisite. Asura had the sage's body and im sure the eyes isnt something out of the body... Maybe the eyes werent as great as his father or brother... But im sure he was pretty much there... Plus having the sharingan is no good mostly cause it compromises the user's ability to judge a situation or an incident. For me this is the reason why Madara can never be as good as Nagato and will be a slave to his clan's curse....
Madara gave his rinnegan to Obito, because he gave one of his eyes to Kakashi, after obtaining the rinnegan, Obito found Nagato and gave his rinnegan to him, but when Nagato died, Obito asked Konan where did he put Nagato's body, in the end Konan lost to Obito and found Nagato's body and took back the rinnegan

i am going to tell you the whole story of nagato.madara unlocked the rinnegan through anger of hashirama bieng his enemy.he was very old and was dieng when he had rinnegan,so he told obito/tobi to time travel and transplant the rinnegan in nagato when he was a child,and madara was resurrected to his younger form with eternal mangekyo sharingan.and when nagato died,obito took the rinnegan for himself.don't belive me?check out the manga.

with Edo Tensei so I think Kabuto just made Madara’s body younger with the card he puts in the body,but after getting revived he should be older

Ead the manga, he died of old age helping Obito be Tobi, Madara gave Obito\Tobi the rinnegan, and obito\Tobi gave Nagato Madara's eyes after he died. When Kabuto ressurected Madara with Hashirama partly in him, he made him look younger, and his DNA said he still had the rinnegan, that how Nagato got the rinneyan.
Madara didn't die against Hashirama he wrote write reality and maybe between that period he gave Naga to the Rinnegan
I think it was black zetsu because he was the child of the sixth paths mother/the brother of the sixth path and at the end were zetsu backstabs madara to revive his mother he says that he is the oldest before ninjutsu was created and that it was his plan to revive his mother since the sixth path and his Mother sealed his mother away
when i watched naruto the sage of the six paths said that uzumaki (senju) + uchiha = rinnegan
and all the hairs of the uzumaki except naruto is red and the color of red which nagato have has some uchiha dna so that means the uzumaki's (senju's) that have the dna of uchiha what will happen is when one part of the family or whole rather will cause them or he/she to unlock rinnegan thats how nagato got rinnegan

The Rinnegan can be awakened by combining the chakra of Hagoromo's sons, Indra and Asura, in order to create Hagoromo's chakra. Madara implanted cell of 1st hokage to obtain rinnegan.(Senju+uchiha=Rinnegan) If thats the case then you can obtain a rinnegan by getting a senju bloodline and uchiha bloodline to perform marriage and their children will definitely obtain rinnegan cause the conditions are meant.

I see what some of the people here are saying about Madara giving the Rinnegan and thats just what I wanted to know, but all of you say it was supposed to be Nagato to revive Madara and that did not happen? (Unless im missing something) Wasnt it Kabuto who revived Madara? So with this reincarnation how did the story connect? How did Madara ultimately get the Rinnegan he used in the final battle? And if Kabuto died in someway how would Madara be reincarnated if Nagato failed to do so and Kabuto reincarnated him?

It was madara who gave Nagato his the rinnegan. Not obito. When nagato was still young Madara transplanted his eyes into nagato, inorder to later be swayed by tobi to activate a special jutsu which will revive Madara from the dead. The only people who awakened the rinnegan was the sage of the six paths and madara. Even tobi's rinnegan is in fact Madara's rinnegan. In which tobi retrieved them from nagatos dead corpse and transplanted into his body.
