I have a few American Express cards now and have used the sign up bonuses for business class for two to Europe next year. I mostly use the Gold card in every day life for 4x dining and groceries. Once in awhile I use the platinum for travel expenses that I’m not using points for. I’m at a point where I don’t qualify for anymore cards which is frustrating. I need to wait till next year I think which will be 24 months for some of them. I need to do the retention calls but I hate making calls! I’ll have to psyche up! Rakuten pops up once in a while when I’m buying something so I’ve gotten a few points from that.
Of course! You can check out our Transfer Partners Cheat Sheet where we keep track of this and update it as we know about transfer bonuses. You can access it here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1D6x6OBLrrUYktwqFcKrlkTMijtlMptqJLPPdCNYVqk0/htmlview#gid=0
@@LK_EBM I don’t have a Dunkin in my town so I won’t be using that. I do utilize the Uber Eats and Grub Hub credits which has off set the $250 fee. I will have to check if the Resy credit will be useful.
Definitely some interesting changes to the gold card. I’m sure we’ll make a video on it soon but as always, it really just depends on which credits you’re able to actually use to offset the annual fee. For me, I use the 4X on dining way too much to cancel it unfortunately haha Thanks for sharing!
Be VERY careful about threatening to close an account. Do not do this via email and even over the phone some credit card companies will not only not offer you a retention offer but will cancel your account if you indicate that you might want to. They won't even confirm it with you first.

Awesome video as always Daily Drop Crew.
Appreciate it!
Great tip on the Virgin Atlantic cruises.
Glad it was helpful 👍🚢

Do other companies have upgrade offers? Like Capital One?
What about AMEX UK?
Thanks for the video! How do you know when they are transfer bonuses? Did they email you?

Just saw that AMEX has raised the yearly fee on the Gold card to $325. I was already leaning towards canceling at $250 so probably a done deal now.
They added a $100 Resy and $84 Dunkin credit. What do you think of those?

Retitle vid on how to maximize pts, no mention of 1M
Look, you can play around all you want. An airline point is only worth ONE CENT.
Wait you got 7 AMEX cards haha. What is the benefit of that?
Sign up bonuses.
Yeah check your FICO score and see how great 7 open lines of credit are for you.
@@DS-gt1ft uhm, I’m from the Netherlands, Europe. Got no clue what a FICO score is. Probably US related right?
