SIP SERVER NOT FOUND - NEC SL2100

SIP SERVER NOT FOUND - issue resolved.
In this video I'm, using NEC SL2100 Hardware and NEC DT900 IP Phone to show you all how to fix the "SIP SERVER NOT FOUND" error message.
To access the admin control on NEC phone
Click on - hold, transfer, *, #
default password is 6633222
You can also click on "Menu" button to access the admin control.
Once logged in you have to enter the proper IP address in the "SIP" settings.
Then assign an IP address for the phone followed by subnet mask and gateway.

As I understand it, only if the SL2100 is the DHCP server or the router can handle the option, most basic routers have minimal DHCP options onboard.
