This was very interesting. Especially to get it to countries who don't have anything. I cant imagine waiting months to get a result. But your rt they do have a tough time with all our big imaging companies. Then again they have the smaller space on there side if quality isn't a issue. I'm sure u will research more 🙂
Been in radiology and manager in Radiation Therapy since 1986 . I think the play could be to put these smaller scanners in a large van instead of a semi truck and would be able to increase the services to home health and to Nursing homes and rehab facilities that dont want to pay to have patient shipped out and cost of ambulance and emergency care. For day to day services this could be accomplished and is a great need for these smaller units at many levels. Definite game changer and in my opinion may get bought out by the bigger companies for a premium say 100 to 150 a share.
LOVED this!! For me, talk about both corporate and medical things in ur videos, especially given ur first bachelors and working corporately. Loved this since I was hoping you’d dive into some material aside from what you’ve discussed for years now
Definitely keep up with the videos about biotech stocks! As someone who trades mostly bio stocks I’d love to hear a doctors opinion ! Started a position in NNOX last week during that huge market dip! Loved this video 😊
Hey Doctor im a radiation therapist and a Radiology Tech. Also have been active trader. Love nnox bought at pps of 16 and see a lot of use for this new scanner and see them making more products
Any information about radiation dose? Just curious if the machine produces significantly less radiation than conventional Xray or is the difference negligible.
The reason Nanox's cold cathode wasn't picked up by GE/Siemens/etc... is probably that they want to see a perfected technology first. Nanox seems to still be in the R&D stage. They only seem to have one prototype.
@JA You are mistaken. The current CEO of Nanox had datasheets and a "prototype" cold cathode in 2015 and tried to sell it at RSNA 2015, per his blog. It was a complete failure. Now Nanox doesn't even have a datasheet. Nanox is a complete fraud.
Great synopsis! Good to hear from an actual Rad who knows the space. I think the only comment to the criticism of the cloud based imaging service is that it’s a fully turnkey model and a provider would neither have to pay upfront capital nor stand any relationships up with rad groups to read for them. It’s cloud based software yes, but also the full spectrum of a patients journey with imaging from acquisition to a report. If they can create a strong business case for cost savings over time, they could really disrupt with this full platform as a service. especially in global markets.
Thank you for your review @dr_cellini . One point I'd like to make is how important is for this company the cloud base subscription model which is about how they will build their revenue after the apparatus is delivered. I would see this as a very smart business model where the different organizations/hospitals/medical centers can have a local capacity for using the machine w/out putting out crazy investment that normally will be needed to be payed upfront. Pay per use concept and business as a service, a business model I believe is where the future is going. Would be nice to have your view on this. Thanks for your content!
I invest in things I understand, so your content based on investments in the biomedical field is highly interesting to me. Great video, please do more like this.
I'm also a radiologist and also invest in biotech stocks. I have a very negative opinion of NNOX and don't think it amounts to much. Their claims of superiority are dubious, and their cost analyses are understated. I wouldn't use the company website to analyze a biotech company. What do you expect them to put on there? Now, does this mean it won't be a good trade in the near term or even in a year or two? Absolutely not. But let's revisit this post in 5 years, 10 years and see if I'm right about the actual long term prospects of the company.
Dr. Cellini, have you or any independent reputable radiologist personally actually verified that nanox actually works? I'm hearing that the FDA doesn't test devices they approve. thanks
Loved the video and appreciate you diving into investments within the Healthcare space! Would love to see more of these since I've only just started getting into this space. :)
You’re back!!!!! I’m hooked on your videos...can you do one over that clear balloon device that is in your intros? I would like to know what it is and how it’s used!!!
I can see your bachelors in economics really shine here. You do have unique experiences that could be helpful in investing as well as advising about technology and other related medical products that the general public just isn’t aware of yet. As well as not having the expertise to make well informed decisions on things that fall into these topics. I say yes to more medical, healthcare, pharma, biotech, & deepdive videos on this topic❤️ whenever you feel like adding them into your mix of topics. So many physicians just don’t have a degree in economics or experience in investing 😏😝 Nice touch on the “I will be” making a long run small investment. I do agree I don’t think that this is the best market move for entering the market for this new X-ray company.
This was great Michael! Insight from an outside-insider can be really hard to find when I'm researching possible investments and this was very helpful.
Good video doc. I was wondering if you could look into SENS and give us your opinion. SENS is a biomedical company that has developed a continuous glucose monitoring system competing against big companies. Thanks.
Found this video today because I recently invested in this company because it's been making the list of biggest day move investments. It's been in the positive as of late and my gain is 22% . I'm curious if it will keep moving up, level out or crash. Would love an update honestly. Or any stock tips.
Dr Cellini, thank you for this insightful video? Would you mind sharing your views on Nanox Imaging now, since we have had a year of watching them grow towards their mission?
Would love to hear your opinion on health care stocks. Being in my mid 60's, NNOX is way to speculative for me. More than likely they will license out their product and then be bought by mega cap. You might win on that. 40 years as an ER and Med/Surg RN, I'm heavy in Pharma. Expand my knowledge base, Please.
Really enjoyed your analysis on this stock. Look into doing a dive into OM outset medical. I think you'll agree they have a serious disruption about to take place.
If you hear any deals from nnox be sure there are definite agreements not just MOU. Better still if nnox announces purchase agreement et. Siemens to manufacture nnox machines., It would a positive sign if nnox signs agreement to produce the product. If nnox looks for a jv where provides design and other party provides the manufacturing that would a positive, but I doubt that will happen unless the other party can veify that the product works. Right now, that's a very slim chance.
You need to learn technicals, like support and resistance and then learn fundamentals, like reading a balance sheet. Appreciated the video but would be cool to see a doctor break down some technicals.
Do you think you could do a video about interventional neuroradiology and how you would go into it from let's say an integrated interventional radiology residency program as well as other pathways?
Thanks, Dr, Cellini. Your insights are very helpful. I am surprised that obtaining the patent did not help the share price, except for a day long spike. Any thoughts?
Thanks for introducing this-but you haven’t mentioned the financials at all. And perhaps this company would be a good takeover play for one of the larger companies should the platform prove itself in practice.
Disruption won't come from the current players. I have done spreadsheets of the likely profitability and it is massive. Also you miss the point that these imaging centres using the Arc does not need a radiologist.
Nanox are not claiming to handle everything current imaging can but they can do Xrays and CTs quicker cheaper and faster. Also Nanox aims to disrupt GE etc and would have no interest in licencing. Also disruption never comes from within. So Ge etc would struggle to kill their existing business by changing to Nanox.
Very interesting Doc, I’m a CT/X-ray tech, any idea what the cost of something like this would be? It could be a game changer if the price isn’t astronomical!
@@bensteckbauer9957 Ok, then. According to Nanox, its commercial device will cost $10,000 to make, and will be delivered for free to ANYONE who agrees to pay $98 a day to Nanox, including retail locations. Nanox will encourage the retail location to charge the patient no more than $40, all in, for any scan and its interpretation via cloud (no insurance reimbursement involved or required, but Nanox promises CPT codes will be available). The device has not been submitted for regulatory approval/clearance/registration anywhere in the world (Nanox claims to have submitted for pre-market notification another device that it does not intend to market). Can this be a game changer?

They have not updated their website sinde RSNA presentation meaning there has not any progress. To my knowledge there has not been any independent evaluation of the product.
@@DrCellini based on the community post when you asked about what video we wanted. I assume you made this video afther the data was collected. Thats what i ment to say or is it something else ?
So this radiologist perpetuated the Nanox myth of a "cold" tube. Yes, there is no hot filament on the cathode side. Unfortunately, most of the heat in an x-ray tube occurs on the anode side. It's understandable though. Physics class is along time ago for someone practicing international radiology.
I know this is different from any other video I’ve done, but let me know what you think!
What if anything changes in your safety protocols using this device?
It’s not on the market yet so I don’t know!
