So..... Here I present to you, a mashup of some funny/important scenes from the last Lantern Rite festival event quest!

@@user-wi1sb2hs4g I would say the main reasons are: Nuevillete would be able to immediately sense the divine power from Zhongli, know who he is, and blow his identity (fake death). Additionally, Nuevillete desires to take all of the archons to court and Judge them. (Except Nahida).

Prime Adeptus vs Sovereign Dragon
A sovereign dragon reclaiming stolen power is a pretty significant thing, the contrast is wild with Neuvillette embracing human society while Apep lays in the sumeru desert.
Neuvillette is a pretty decent dude the worst I can think of is that he'll be a bit angry asking about whatever happened to the Geo dragon sovereign

The visuals of the cinematic shows the truth alongside what Zhongli says, finding Azhdaha underground and only giving him eyes to see the world.

He doesn't hate them though. As a sovereign, he does have a right to "judge" them but it doesn't mean it is hostile. If they ever see each other and both revealed their identities and capabilities, I don't think a fight would ensue.

yeahhhh neuvillette's voicelines about the archons (except nahida and furina ofc) describe him being determined to bring down judgement upon them. But im guessing that once he learns that the gods didnt really have a choice back then during the archon war but to kill each other until only 7 remain, and that they're not really free considering they're tied to Celestia--the true cause of the old Teyvat world's downfall, i have a feeling only then he'd be less hostile towards them.
Plus can you really blame him? His entire kind was fire nation-ed by creatures who were not from the same world as theirs and then decided to conquer it for their own. It's miraculous that he's not as pissed off as Apep was (and still kinda is) to the point that she was willing to bring down Sumeru along with her.

This was a predictable outcome but the fact that Traveler hints that Zhongli might have been avoiding him is interesting at least. 😂
I mean Zhongli is pretty much one of the original Archon, which mean he participate in killing Neuv's parents and stole their power. Since he doesn't know how Neuv would, encountering him in Liyue would put danger to people around the village.
@@poring8886 The Heavenly Principles was responsible for that, not the archons. The archons just received the elemental authorities that the dragons once had.

Well the funny fact is that if you take a guess based on their reactions and descriptions during the dialogs you can guess that it's not just Zhongli that was avoiding Neuvilette, but also Neuvilette that was avoiding Zhongli too. Hu Tao even said that he was "stiff as a board and way too polite" when he asked for the fastest way to get back to Fontaine, meanwhile when you go meet with him, he said he felt relaxed. Basically he was enjoying his trip until he felt Zhongli's presence and also of course Zhongli felt him too xD.
They are scared from coming face to face with each other xD
I don't think so given how they strongly insinuated how he barely had time to enjoy for himself, besides he didn't have a say about zhongli unlike zhongli whose thoughts pretty much narrowed out the fact that he was avoiding neuvillete even the traveler guessed it right. neuvillete won't skip the chance to encounter any of the archons if they fall under his time schedule or by mere happenstance.
Neuvillette has never not been stiff and way too polite. Navia spent a fair portion of the Fontaine AQ chastising him about it. I don't think that's him being avoidant. I think that's just his personality because he doesn't fully grasp humanity and he's more focused on the law.

From what we know about both of them, nothing serious will probably happen. Neither Nuevillette nor Zhongli is the kind that will start a fight of that magnitude casually. However, from Zhongli's perspective, he does not know Nuevillette well enough to be certain of what will happen if they meet. So he pick the safe approch by avoiding Nuevillette.

I think if Hu Tao wasn't there, Zhongli wouldn't have avoided him. Neuvillette can sense his powers which means he could have ruined Zhongli's entire plan by unintentionally revealing his identity.

Do people really think that Zhongli is weak? He have his power before he became an Archon and got his gnosis. Yes, he did say his power is weak after giving the gnosis but if you actually read his voice line he said his power is retuning. If anything the gnosis is more like a surveillance camera to keep the archons is check. Also, he descended from above 6000 years ago he’s older than 6000 years. Do people really think that Zhongli is avoiding the hydro dragon.
Also, neuvillette wouldn’t actually attack even if he meet Zhongli. They’ll probably sit down have a nice conversation over tea and water. It seems that there’s so much discrepancy between Eastern and western fans.
Yea that's what I'm saying, it's more likely the reason for avoiding neuvi is because he doesn't want him to reveal zhongli's real identity, since everyone was present there

Also Azadaha is one of the sovereign, we just don’t know if he’s the original one or the new one. Azadaha is definitely stronger than Neuvillette so if Zhongli can fight Azadaha who is clearly stronger then he can fight Neuvillete. Besides the boss of the seven sovereign was defeated by celestia if you want to put it that way the seven sovereign are the errand boy of the dragon king.
The power of the archons compared to the dragons is still debateable. While many of the dragons eventually stopped hating humans, gods and archons, there were instances of the archons dealing with dragons. One notable example is Morax against eroded Azhdaha, and that he needed the help of even the adepti to quell his erosion. Conversely, Ei managed to slay Orobashi with the Musou no Hitotachi though Ei was already considerably powerful along with Makoto.
Neuvillette literally inherited an entire nation's worth of authority, having full access to its powers and energies while Morax stepped down and became Zhongli, removing his larger authority, his Gnosis to the Cryo Archon and could no longer contribute to Teyvat's currency. So from this perspective, Neuvillette heavily trumps Zhongli.
Also, I doubt they'd sit down and have a simple conversation. Neuvillette already mentioned that when he meets the Geo Archon, he would hope it wouldn't escalate to violence but will do so when necessary during his trial against him. The least they could do would probably have a heated conversation. Any less than that would be violence.

Also, that what he said but he’s only the sovereign of hydro, if the other sovereign of there respective element don’t care or don’t want their power back then he’s not going to care. I doubt Azadaha will care, if Azadaha wants his power back and he don’t go berserk Zhongli will do it in a heartbeat. It’s different for Nahida though since she’s connected to the world tree so I’m not sure how they will go about doing that. Also, Zhongli doesn’t want his identity to be known he wants to retire. I mean with Neuvillete’s personality do you think he will pretend instead of calling Zhongli Morax when they meet. If you zoom in on Zhongli when he’s talking with hutao about not meeting Neuvillete he seems very proud of himself 😆.
@@aoki395 I think Neuvillette's personality towards the archons is more of wanting them to answer for their hold on Teyvet authority rather than an outright grudge against them. It isn't so much of what they are now but more of what they had which wasn't theirs in the first place (due to the Primordial One), even if they kept the Authority or not. True Neuvillette seeks diplomatic approaches but his call for duty against said injustice is why I think it might not be as easy. It's also why he feels empathy towards Nahida instead of contempt because Nahida was subjected to unfair treatment when she herself just wanted to do good by her people, so in that manner, she made exemplary use of authority over the rest of the Archons and thus to be subjected to a fairer and gentler trial.
I doubt Neuvillette would recognize Zhongli ngl. Bro doesn't know anything past his office door. So it would be awkward for just Zhongli but he'd be able to pull off being a normal person as usual. Even if Neuvillette did meet Zhongli, it's not like he would fight him or even get too aggressive. If people like Furina or traveler was there they'd be pretty upset with him and low-key force him to back off yk? Like I don't think Neuvs gonna go out of his way to disrespect his friends just to interrogate Zhongli.
I also wonder if they would actually get along if Neuvillette didn't know who Zhongli was. Like just through casual conversation. But if bro is already avoiding him now before even meeting, he'd probably try to end that conversation soon enough if he felt uncomfortable, so I guess they couldn't form a bond.
