This was the first time I cried in demon slayer, rengoku,s death really hit hard , I was not expecting the season to end this way buth then again this is what makes demon slayer special giving us a ton of emotions
1:10:14-Actually, this is the best anime moment I've ever seen. I don't remember another villain who was able to confuse the main character so much and made me so nervous.
Enmu History . . When Enmu was a human being, he had a tendency since childhood not to be able to distinguish the difference between dreams and reality, this caused many problems for the people around him. As an adult, even though he was not a doctor, he misused things like hypnotic therapies, as well as convincing patients who did not have long to live that they had recovered their health. Even though after a while they realized that it was all a lie, he kept doing this horrible scam over and over again. One night, Muzan wanted to completely devour Enmu. His intestines were eaten by Muzan and he was not supposed to turn into a demon at first, but because he felt no pain from the fatal wound, he envied and praised Muzan. With those last words, his heart and brain stopped working, so Muzan turned him into a demon. Enmu knew that he had been converted due to Muzan's whim and would only remember him in passing, so Enmu did his best to ascend to the rank of Lower Rank One.
Rewatching this amazing mashup again. I love akaza, my favorite upper rank demon. Rengoku is my favorite hashira. Between these two, I love Rengoku more, his death will never be in vain, he did his duty, so it's still a win, he's truly remarkable man with the sense of justice and blazing heart🔥🤍
When grown ass adults cry for a anime character which we get to knew only for a couple of hours you can say the writers did justice to the character of rengoku...my fav anime character now
1:30:15 look I just love Rengoku too but those who say that he nearly lost to Akaza is totally wrong. Many people are forgetting this specific scene where Rengoku freezes for several minutes without any sort of attack or defence before going all out. In that moment Akaza could have ended that fight as well as kill everyone else but he didn't do it because he respected Rengoku and wanted to make him a demon desperately without killing him.
Regardless whether or not akaza holds off his true strength or not (which i think he does), the fact remains the same, he almost died in the battle against Rengoku. And the fact that a human can bring the upper moon 3 close to death is already a huge feat in itself. Any hashira that is not Sanemi and Gyomei would have died there just like Rengoku and even worse, they could die before the sun rises.
okay still doesnt change the fact that he literally almost killed Akaza and you cant even say he was holding back in that last moment because the sun was coming up so he couldn't fuck around at that point and he still had trouble escaping Kyojuro's grip
@@Dell-ol6hb but I never said anything about that. I get it Akaza was going to loose in the end. But I was talking about the whole fight not that moment. If Akaza fought him seriously from the start then he could have ended it quickly and also could have killed everyone else. Rengoku was definitely strong that’s why Akaza couldn’t get off his grip quickly but if the sun was not rising even if he managed to decapitate his head he wouldn’t die because he can still regrow it.
@@unnirajac8617 in this situation he can’t regrow cause you can see how he was worried when rengoku was about to cut his head off. If he can regrow in this situation, he would’ve let rengoku cut his head then escaped to the woods from the sun but yet he fought so that he doesn’t get decapitated

Ill never not cry everytime rengoku dies.. its always when he dies with a smile on his face when his mothers spirit is proud of him when my eyes start leaking
True, that Akaza held back somewhat in his fight against Rengoku due to his admiration for the Hashira's spirit and strength, it's crucial to remember that Akaza still inflicted grievous injuries upon Rengoku. The fact that Rengoku nearly died during the confrontation speaks volumes about the intensity of the battle and the power Akaza wielded. Akaza's desire to turn Rengoku into a demon is a significant factor in his hesitation to deliver a fatal blow. However, his initial attacks were far from restrained, and he clearly intended to push Rengoku to his limits. Therefore, it's inaccurate to say that Akaza wasn't fighting seriously. While he held back in the sense that he didn't immediately go for the kill, he still fought with a considerable amount of power and intent, making the battle a near-death experience for Rengoku.
lol sometimes reactors are so funny. like, some would read that subtitle about that "hilt" then they'd be shocked and go "what do you mean hilt?! do demons have swords?! what are you saying?!" haha they be too literal some times.
These people are gonna go mad in infinity castle arc. And they are just getting shocked seeing the normal slashes of neck and simple stomach stabs i don't know what will happen to them if they watch sunrise countdown arc. They will get traumatized
I remember watching this in the theater. I was having a problem of my own from my family where to the point that I do not have any motivation anymore to live since I do not have anyone who will be proud of me. My parents often have the tendency to verbalize their complaint regarding an issue or an opinion (which is not bad since we're all humans), but the problem is, what their complaining about is something I have done to them on my own accord. We always hire household help since we have a business but since our previous one already went home...we don't have anyone......which means that I will have to step up in taking care of the house, my parents, and everything else. I personally am sensitive when they make comments about the food I made or what they saw me do (btw they are both in their 70's which is why I need to take care of them). I feel hurt because they do not have any filter for what they say to me. I ask myself multiple times if what I feel is a lack of appreciation on their part but I always find myself that I do not mind if they do not give appreciation or even a verbal one... i just want them to be nice to me for what I am doing for them..if ever they do not want how the rice turned out they can just nicely say to me that I should add more water the next time I put it in the rice cooker not where they just loudly would say "the rice is rock hard..I can't even it that. Why is the rice like that?" ....i mean who would not be hurt by that given that I am the only one who will cook...... (i mean being nice is what a human being should do, right?) Well, going back. This what I've been going through the time I watched this movie. I felt the same with Rengoku because despite his efforts in the Demon Slayer Corps as well as for his brother...his dad always treat him like shit or talks down on him...which is exactly what my parents were doing. I felt Rengoku because even though he is disappointed, sad, or even devastated by what his dad was saying he keeps a bright smile and happy personality because it is what is left. He pushes himself to be better by just motivating himself. In short, he just found his own inspiration to continue his life especially he has Senjuro to support. It is what I felt that time where I just need to set my heart ablaze for myself because no one will do that for me. As Rengoku said, "No matter how devastated you may be by your own weakness or uselessness...set your heart ablaze. Grit your teeth and look straight ahead. Even if you stop or crouch down, the time won't wait for you, hug you, snuggle you, or grieve with you." I cried a whole lot by what he said because it's exactly what I needed to hear because even if I am sad by what is happening to my life, no one will comfort me or change it for me but myself which goes the same with Rengoku with his father. Rengoku, thank you for setting my heart ablaze ❤🔥
