He's definitely heard this song before bro he's pretending.
@@no_shoes6706yeah layedbak is falling off. has been for a while
@@no_shoes6706 yeah its really hard to believe he hasn’t atleast in some capacity
100%, Its still worth watching if you know the person has heard the song many times before.@@no_shoes6706
Some people were born 2,000 and after I feel bad for them.I was a teen during the greatest Era of Music.🤟🤟
This album was so huge! It was the biggest concert in 1986.
You Give Love A Bad Name and Wanted Dead Or Alive are their two largest hits I believe. This one can't be far behind. Great reaction man, keep up the hard work! 💪💪
Nah I’d say this is there biggest song followed by you give love a bad name
@@mistawolf752exactly
Living on a Prayer was biggest in 80s followed by You give love a bad name
Always was biggest in the 90s.
It's My life Biggest in 2000...
Livin on a prayer is their biggest hit ever followed by Always and You give love a bad name and then it's my life.
The lead singer, Jon Bon Jovi, has had roles on several tv series. He now runs a free restaurant for anyone who needs it. A handsome, cool guy underneath all that hair.
"You give love a bad name", "Always", "Keep the faith", "It's my life", "Bad medicine", "In these arms", "Bed of roses" and so many more, are Bon Jovi's huge songs. "
Oh i love "It's my Life!" ❤
They were just a group of friends who were having an amazing time. They truly did not care if they made it or not and they did. Modern music is missing the passion for music.
Yo. Welcome to the 80's Big hair bands era. This was our whole anthem growing up for some of us!
(Me-it was me !😁👋)
Big hair. Wild clothes and rock and roll and a bunch of friends hanging out just living life!! Concerts. Beaches. Parks. Yards of friends.
When ever where ever.
Then we grew up. Had kids. Now our kids are having kids...but hearing Bon Jovi takes me right back to that time.
THOSE WERE THE DAYS😎
Peace and love always until there is no more!😊❤
Livin’ on a Prayer was out in 1986. One of many great Bon Jovi songs!!!
That vocal sound you like is made with a Talk Box. Works with the guitar player and can use his voice to talk thru the guitar. Or vice Versa. Was SUPER popular in the eighties
Peter Frampton brought that talk box out and it was done 😂
When you paused the video @ 3:40 you can see the tubing going into the guitarist's mouth from the talk box.
Bon Jovi have a lot of bangers🔥
I was able to go to a Bon Jovi concert on that tour, back in third grade. I'm in my mid 40's now. That is still one of my favorite concerts.
80s rock and I’m so here for it. I loved Bon Jovi. 80s hair rocked as hard as the music. I couldn’t hit play fast enough, and your reaction did not disappoint.
Oh man. Probably one of my favorite albums EVER. You’re speaking to my teenage heart.
They are so awesome. 80's music is the best in my opinion.
How you not hear this classic😩
He's was pretending not to have heard it before .
@@JimKerr-xl2jt yeah I hate when people do that
Always ~ bin Jovi it’s beautiful
This is one the best live performance songs I have ever seen. My wife loves these guys so we go when they tour. The crowd singing the chorus is something to behold.
Bon Jovi was my first concert! Huge crush!🥰🥰 Awesome 80’s group and the man is still handsome and is still making music! 🎶🎵 He also has a beautiful heart, he and his wife do amazing work for charity, including a kitchen where people can work for their meals and many times he even works there himself! ❤❤
Glad you loved the song!!❤❤
I remember when this video premiered on MTV - it was highly anticipated because their first video for "You give love a bad name" was a huge hit. This played on MTV in a constant loop because people requested it so often. In the beginning Bon Jovi was criticized as being just another "hair band" of the 80's, but they've proved their longevity by creating hit song after hit song for decades to follow. Not only did they pump out hard rockin' tunes, but many well loved "power ballads" with Jon's iconic voice on such classics as Never say good-bye, I'll be there for you, Bed of roses, Always, & Thank you for loving me.
My top favorite Bon Jovi song (as a band) is Wanted Dead or Alive. My 2nd favorite is Blaze of Glory - another great song, but that was done by Jon as a solo endeavor & featured on the soundtrack for the film "Young Guns - part 2"
Bon Jovi its legend .One of the best band .Its my life should be next .
Memories. 😊😊
Jon was so fit. I like the song. It’s catchy and Jon is very easy on the eye.
This was definitely the late 80s. I went to one of the concerts where he flew above us.. it was EPIC... and they sounded exactly like the record in concert..
Indeed, I think 86 🤘🏽
Bon Jovi are one of the GOATS of rock! Definitely a great group.
This record came out in 86 or 87 I think. I remember I went to see them in 89 with their New Jersey tour. The concert started, Jon BonJovi started singing but he was not on stage,. We were looking around and someone pointed up and he was running on the catwalk in the rafters then was lowered on a platform. Pretty cool opening.
Bon Jovi was an amazing singer man. Hits every note. You need to listen to the only vocals track for this song. Straight singing, no auto tune nothing
Its a band
That "ooh wa ooh ooh" sound is a Talk Box device attached to Richie's guitar. Motley Crue guitarist used one on Kickstart My Heart.
I believe Peter Frampton used it first. The flying - Jon was a Superman fan and even has a tattoo on one shoulder. I think he said this in an interview? It's been several years so I forgot. LOL
Enjoying your reaction to rock! A great genre as well, these too are on the studios playlist! Venture into ACDC, Queen and Metallica! I can't believe you haven't heard this! King, you must broaden yihr horizons there is so much more than rap and hip hop👑
That’s the difference from then and now it does make a difference it all about love and the faith and love you have in your partner
And each other
lol I wish it was 14 years ago because I saw this concert, actually I was 17 and it was 1986..the date is when it first came out on UA-cam.I LOVE Bon Jovi! They have so many great hits! And they were Awesome in concert!
Fire squad! Let’s go!! Snake skin boots and Aquanet hair spray.
I can smell that hairspray still! 😂😂
He also said "Take my hand we'll make it I swear"!
Lets go, thats a classic! W 🔥
Song came out in late 1986....Jon Bon Jovi is just a great dude..owns restuarants and feeds the homeless.....need more people like him. Check out You Give Love a Bad Name by them.
This song came out in 1986 😁
Love this song. Definitely one of my All time Favorites 💕
Bon Jovi is a Band from the 80s that still around making Music 💕
Insane you've never heard this. Its been on the radio, a ton of movies, not to mention the meme universe. Bon Jovi is huge around the world. You've probably heard some of their music and just don't know it.
Insane that you think people grew up with the same exact experiences you did. You do realize most households in black communities don't listen to rock music that much, right? Just like how you probably grew up with Rock and Country, black folk grew up with R&B, Hip-Hop and funk.
@keithgraham8588 Some music and movies supercede stereotypes man, that's why I said what I said.
@@keithgraham8588That's absolute rubbish he has head it before , you know he was telling a lie .
We use to belt this out on a road trip. One of the best songs to sing karaoke with your friends 😊
The 80's was such an epic time to grow up music wise.
To have not heard this song and also grow up and be into music is absolutely unbelievable. There’s literally no way 😂
Yeah man, keep um the Rock Music Reacts
John Bon Jovi was my biggest crush of the 80s lol.
I saw them in 87 in KC Missouri, Cinderella opened for them
Another BANGER 🔥🔥🔥 " you give love a bad name" "Bad Medicine ❤
More hits from Bon Jovi-
You give love a bad name!
Wanted Dead or Alive!
I'll be there for you! & Who says you can't go home (duet) are my absolute favorites !
I subbed up, ready for it😊
Also would love to see you do more 80s rock reactions, groups like Metallica, Ozzy, Europe, Scorpions, Heart etc😍
Oh yeah, Bon Jovi has some more hits. Bed of Roses, Wanted Dead or Alive, I'll Be There for You, Bad Medicine, Always, You Give Love a Bad name, Runaway. That's just the one's I can think of off the top of my head. Living on a Prayer came out in the late 80's...87 or 88, I think. Still a good jam and a great reaction.
Blaze of Glory is, by far, my favorite Bon Jovi song. But he does have a lot of good stuff.
I can't believe you haven't heard this. They are pretty popular. I'm not huge on them but I do like some of them. They have a bit more that are pretty major. You Give Love a Bad Name, Wanted Dead or Alive, Bad Medicine, It's My Life, Always, Bed of Roses, I'll Be There For You are just some of them.
He was pretending not to have heard it .
3:38 that sound you like, you can see a part of how it's being made in this shot; a talk box.
I'm 56 and still have a crush on him. Saw the in Chicago 10 years ago. They can still rock!! Growing up 80's was the best.
Saw them in concert in 2006. Best show I’ve ever seen.
Hey Layedbak I love your reactions man, keep it up
Richie Sambora, the guitar player is making that sound with a talk box, he uses foot control for the effects.
Wanted Dead or Alive is my favorite Bon Jovi song❤
I cant believe someone have'nt heard this song, this song is very popular in the Philippines we Filipinos love so much Western rock band...
My older sister LOVED Bon Jovi back in the late 80’s…my skater friends and I hated all this glam rock stuff back then but now I’m like , this is cool! Lol
The video was uploaded to UA-cam 14 years ago. The song is 37 years old. It was released in October of 1986. This video was filmed in September of 1986.
Im a huge Hip hop/rap fan but this is one of my favorite songs outside the genre
Bon Jovi: "We'll make it!", Ne-yo: "We're not makin it, but we DAF". Both Amazing songs about a very similar subject.
A huge 80's hit! Glad you enjoyed it!
Wanted Dead Or Alive and You Give Love A Bad Name are fire
The video with the album came out in 1986, and I saw them live in Tokyo Dome on New Year's Eve in 88, and they really put on a show.
Songs of my teenage years!!❤❤ I swear, the 70's and 80's had THE BEST rock music
Crazy you never heard it. But I'm 49 and lived through and listened to MANY genres even those before i arrived.
That Eevie Echoes single is amazing!
im so happy to see u dude that u like golden 80s
love your vids
it's been 14 years since the video was put on UA-cam. the actual video from the group has been around for 40 years now!
It’s more than 14 years old! 😂😂😂🤦♀️ dam I’m old!😂😂😂 late 80’s when it 1st came out! Facts! I remember!😂😂😂😂 good video though! Yeah that “Ooooo Whhhhhooowww whhooww” was EVERYTHING WHEN IT CAME OUT!
La mejor banda del World...
There is another song is my favorite of all time and it's popular song 2 it called ("You Give Love A Bad Name")
Will always be one of my favorite songs
The hairspray of the day was Aquanet. LOTS of it
This was my song in 1987. I was 17. My younger brother got me the cassette for Christmas to play in my Sony Walkman.❤😊😊
Bon Jovi used to be in my personal top 10. I'm not that much into their newer stuff, but I still like listening to their first 9 albums. I hope you'll check out more. They have some real classics that almost everybody knows.
They are from NJ in my backyard. So many hits from the 80’s on! Wanted Dead or Alive would be my next pick.
Bon Jovi - Always
I am so happy that you decided to do a reaction to one of my favorite groups in the whole world. Bon Jovi is an American Band from New Jersey. They got together back in the early eighties, and their first album debuted in 1984. Now that you started reacting to them, best to fall in into the rabbit hole and do more videos of there's! Next you should react to their song called Wanted Dead Or Alive
They have some damn good songs! Gotta check my personal favorite Blaze of Glory.
Bro, if you want to see some suburban women go crazy, have the bar play this around 10:30pm
KICK A$$ Song. I LOVE Bon Jovi ❤❤❤ love Ur reaction Brooo 😂🎉❤
The Wo-Wo-Wo is a talk box. The sound runs through the guitar.
This ones a classic 👌
Classic Bon Jovi. Check out their other songs, Always.. You give love a bad name, all the other tracks mentioned. Won’t be disappointed!
Love the reaction! I know u said u just take request from ur Patreons but I'm hoping u could do this 1 request. It's a Bon Jovi hit called "It's My Life" it is really a great song to get anyone motivated to go out & live their life. I'm just not in a place to be able to joing ur Patreon or I would. So I hope you see this comment & grant my request. Thank you!
One of the many songs that got me hella into classic rock, in my 20’s so mother had to get me into it. But it’s my main music now with how the older beats sound tbh, especially love that woah w-wwoah beat thing 🤣
The sheer power and drive in their music is absolutely mind-blowing. Btw would love to see you react on Dark by October Ends
I am 44 and grew up on this music......... I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bon Jovi was the 2nd concert I ever attended and I was in high school... fire concert was Elton John :)
a good one to watch that is a little more recent than that is the song "Its my life" its a great song as well. So the one that i would recommend are " Its My Life", "Wanted Dead Or Alive" "You Give Love a Bad Name" and few others that i dont remember the name to. Please give these songs a try.
80’s classic! 👏 Something can be said for hair/ fashion though 😂
It doesn’t make a difference because they have each other (and that’s what is important) 👍
Jon Bon Jovi married to his wife 42 years...they definitely made it❤❤ Beautiful
After all these years, he's still only half way there
I actually seen these guys back way way back n the day. First time headlining with Cinderella warm up band. You give love a bad name is a great song & video. Slippery was the concert tour I was at. Wanted dead or alive, Jon wrote for the movie Young Guns & played a small role which also started his acting. Still does concerts as well.
This song is fire! They were amazing in concert...you have to listen to "wanted dead or alive" and "You give love a bad name"...this was my era in High School and a great time to be a teenager...Thanks for the reaction! Looks like you have a nice view from your place...
It was the eighties, man, and it was fun! ☮️❤️😎
Bon Jovis Songs are all a straight A for me°!
Tommy and Gina were mentioned in a couple of later songs.
I saw the title and immediately went What? First time? So here I go. Damn it, I feel old af
He was pretending it was his first time.
38 years since living on a prayer. 40 years since bonjovi began this year. Fuck I'm old.
This is the one that did it for me. It was #1 on DialMTV for monthssss. I've been a major fan since. In 2018, I was able to see them get inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Amazing.
Also, that's not spritzer. IT'S AQUANET HAIRSPRAY! LMAO. Good times, good times. Now react to Lay Your Hands on Me and Bad Medicine.
My favorite is I'll Be There For You.
You Give Love a Bad Name
