He was gonna destroy the egg but realized a lot of people would hate him and try to kill him, and he barely managed to end his conflicts with Dream thanks to his Punz strat. He doesn't want (yet?) to be a hero again and go through all the things he's already been through, whether it's war, abuse, manipulation, betrayals, trauma...
anyway he's immune so he's gonna be forced back into a big role, so that's gonna be interesting. He'll probably feel the need to help either Ranboo or Technoblade, as it's clear he wants to rekindle their friendship

Some theories here for the people who want to know some unestablished lore:
When the egg spoke to techno, when slowed and reversed it said *Have we met? You feel familiar.."*
As we know from the tales of the smp, Karl time travels through the in-between and meets people of the past.
Sir Billiam could possibly be in technos bloodline, For that could be how the egg might know techno. For sir Billiam kept the egg in his basement before the egg took over the smp.
Ok, hear me out. Foolish is a totem of undying, he made the temple of undying. And *possibly* because of this my theory is that later down the line Foolish might get infected by the egg, and if someone ever destroys it, he could heal or revive it.
Fundy has said that the egg was created by a dreamon, but we've seen the egg in the past in sir billions basement. So, who did create the egg...
There has been many possibilities, in who it could have been but I have one a little more.. flexible?
So dream became a dreamon, because he had one day in the past gone into sir billions basement looking for treasures. But instead found a mask, enclosed on display. He broke it out and put it on, he wasn't able to take the mask off. Unless he had died, The mask allowed him to live forever as long as he had it on and didn't die. But when he died, the mask would take another victim. Dream had almost too much power for his own good, but tubbo and fundy were working on a way to cure it. While that was happening, dream had made a way to still survive as a dreamon. He made the egg. And as we've seen, the egg takes control by inclosing you in obsidian by the egg.
And with dream trapped in prison, it could be different for he created the egg. Which means it could be the opposite, which is why his sell is now half way made of crying-obsidian. Dream is surrounded by obsidian in prison, which could be how he revived Tommy.
The reason why techno never dies is because his crown could be made from the enchanted material of a totem of undying.
The reason why the egg knew what ranboo did and called ranboo a traitor, is because the egg, as stated is connected to dream. But dream found a way to manipulate ranboo and speak in his head.
These theories are unestablished, but some cool ideas for lore in the future?
They are very flexible and may not bend the right way to fit in the entirety of the smp but it is possibly worth stating? :) Have a wonderful day/evening!

Did anyone else notice in techno's recent stream of the egg,somewhere in the stream when he uses the hoe to get rid of a blood vein,he gets stung or a slight damage? And now even ranboo is taking damage from the egg and yet ...tommy didn't get damaged from the egg when he took a piece? My main point: *Did anyone notice techno's slight damage?* Maybe it was a mistake? And why exactly isn't the egg hurting tommy or maybe even able to hurt him?

I have a lil theory that the dream in the jail isn’t all of dream just one half and the other half is the egg.
Tristyn Polk I feel like the other part is ranboo bc dream wasn’t always the villain at the start. He was sick of the chaos that tommy caused on his server but he still didn’t want to kill tommy or anyone actually deep inside, but I think he made ranboo into half of his good part and half Ender man, so that evil dream is the only one left inside the real dream, and that dream went to prison so ranboo is the only part of dream left free.

On Techno's stream I complained about how this egg plot line didn't feel right and BBH wasn't a good villain. But Ranboo here has restored my faith in this plot. He's really good at acting and if he got infected and became a villain I wouldn't mind, he could do good.
To be honest Techno makes any plot look dumb and funny. Hes just so overpowered that he does not care.
BBH is more of a villain’s henchman than a villain. The Egg is instead the villain
@@riverwater8646 techno is the unstoppable force in the server, he’s more just on the ride trying to keep himself from being too OP for the lore and doesn’t take any threats on the server seriously as he is OP. Except when his friends are threatened like when Ranboo fell into that hole we just got Sensei helps Main Character action sequence by Techno tossing his trident down and motivating Ranboo that he can get out of it by believing in him.

Maxed Beacon with regen, God apple and netherite but with blast protection because it only does 1 single type of damage not true damage
For me It would be hard to get manipulated by something with a sinister voice, but if it had a voice like Dream (which sounds censer) than that's a different story.
Honestly if i was in the dream smp i would: get the church prime armour then get some tnt then light that baby up!

I feel like a very cool and interesting direction that they could take is that the egg could finally take complete control of the SMP and that Ranboo could find out that Dream is the only one who can stop it so he breaks him out. But after he defeats the egg they all try to out him back in jail but dream retaliate and THAT is what leads into the next war arc which could be the people who want to see dream freed bc he defeated the egg and the people who feel he should still be jailed
