Nice review as always! Love my Patton, and although not looking or needing an upgrade I am happy LK is continuing to make good quality wheels and push things forward. The price on this wheel is up there!
So many new wheels. I am so glad they went back to trying to make lighter wheels. I got the EX30 I've gotten used to it. But I still prefer a more nimble wheel. I want to power and I want the ruggedness with lightness and nimbleness.
Get the extreme then..extremely agile with 16" wheel.. it's a mini ex30 pocket rocket.. complements my ex30 perfectly..extremely durable/ rugged with its all cnc metal design.. just get the 50s version
@@kmurdock3540 how fast do you need? It's capable of more than 50mph and if you get the 50s version can keep those top speeds up to low battery.. you said you wanted more agility and ruggedness.. the extreme is exactly that.. if you want an even faster street wheel you have to sacrifice agility for stability with a larger diameter wheel.. you have to choose between optimum agility or optimum stability/ higher speed.. the ex30 is pretty agile for its weight due to its low cog and stable and capable of higher speeds but still not as agile and rugged as the extreme for example.. for a higher speed highly agile wheel you'll have to wait for a 16" 168v 50s begode wheel to be created
@@kmurdock3540 168v 16" wheel doesn't exist.. I'm just saying hypothetically if you wanted a faster wheel than the extreme but just as agile with a 16" wheel that would be the wheel you want . But a 50s extreme is pretty close enough or sacrifice some agility for a higher speed more stable wheel that is 20" or more..personally I wouldn't want to be going over 50mph on a 16" wheel and would prefer a larger more stable wheel and sacrifice some agility
Well done on the review and since this wheel is on my short list this is very positive. Thanks for your honesty and constructive opinion. I think all the current releases are good wheels the question is, “is it good for you”!
Merci pour le review. J'aurais aimé que tu parles un peu plus du ride feel du nouveau système 150v. Comment se compare t'il à la sherman S ou aux autres roues en 134v. Comment est libéré la puissance.
There are few reviews on this EUC at the moment and for some reason all reviewers have focused on design and weight. Guys, this is 151V! We want to know how it accelerates! We don't need tests, just tell us how the dynamics feel compared to other powerful EUCs. Hopefully in the speed part, this topic will be covered. Thanks for the review!
I have a Sherman Max with the CST knobby and at higher speeds it does occasionally feel like it has a mind of its own - and I don't need my tires thinking for me. My Master has the Kenda and it feels fine at speed. If I needed a wheel, I'd consider the Lynx. 20" is more stable, floats over loose, large rocks better than smaller diameter tires, and is more comfortable.
when you were breaking it down, how was the waterproofing? am looking for an all weather commuter. if you had to recommend a street tyre what would you recommend for the lynx?
They say you shouldn't over-inflate the CST tire, I had it on my master for 3K km and it felt fine at 35psi. I do have a knobby Kenda now and like it's profile a little more.
great review. the lynx needs the michelin pilot street 2 tire in 80/90 14. should fit perfectly. i have the 16 on my v13 and run it at 47psi, because i think neltrek used the original tube and pinched it on install. so it leaks down a little every day by oozing slime on the rim. wish i had ur guy close by.
according to jack's measurement between the battery packs, it won't fit plus it's blocky and not truly sysmetrical and perfectly round profile of the michelin. u got ur tire buddy there, have him slap on a michelin, they are only $45 bucks! help leaperkim and me out! please, i'm begging u!
I need one of these here in Brazil, and the price is ridiculous here, give me one and you don't mind much anymore! here and more than 20 thousand Brazilian dollars due to taxes. sad!
Tires & tubes are the critical items that any EUC manufacturer especially Leaperkim with a $4000 USD asking price should never fall short on. That was a disappointment. They really need to cut that shit out!
Dont they know what we mean when we say, we need spiked pedals? Instead we get round shaped pimples, worse then griptape. I would better use OG Sherman griptape pedals. Just please, make spikes spikey, will you? How do I get 50S battery together with kenda tire in Europe? Are we doomed here?
Think this will be my next wheel. The weight, power, size, design, firmware. But this company needs to stop making there own pedals, please stop. And also wish these companies would stop putting crappy cst and shitty kenda tires. Its simple off road? Shinko 244. Street, simple pirelli angel.
“I will discuss speed in another video”. I truncated a portion of it because of some issues in measuring the actual speed of the wheel currently happening. I discussed torque in the video, i dont need to make an essay about it. I dont do range tests, i leave that painful process to others. Thanks for watching.
@@Ronin_Ryderdon’t mind the haters. I’m guessing low end torque might not be as high as the Patton, could be wrong though. This wheel looks like it does not disappoint on the speed or acceleration. A step forward for EUCs. Can’t wait for 168V
😎👍🏼 2:47 perfect angle for suspension action of the wheel !
You can see the rider steady and the wheel movements up & down to the road.
I heard it does 185mph! Maybe even 285mph on full charge!
Thank you, I’ve always enjoyed your videos and think they are the best in the EUC community. Glad to see your channel growing.
Thank you very much!🙏

I noticed a pedal lowering kit on ewheels.
Wow... this introduction section of the video and the music gave me goose bumps. I miss my wheels so badly (I live in UK).

The CST knobby does that, it’s worth getting rid of.
I run a Michelin Pilot Sport street tire on my Shermax and it's awesome for asphalt
@@TurboGlennyeah same I got the shermax with the michelin angel
Enjoyed this review Ronin. 👍🏼😊 hope there is part 2
There will be, thank you😉
Im thinking on this one. I also was thinking on commander pro
Cool video, curious what kind of camera set up you use for getting shots of the wheel riding like that. GoPro?
Love your content Ronin! Where are you going in NYC for repairs?
Thanks! I use Ai-Rides in the Bronx

Check my channel shorts about rain riding with this wheel! Street tire: kenda
‘Formidable,’ as we say in Scotland!😂👍🏻
Im about to order my first wheel. This or the S22 Pro? Mostly an asphalt rider
those knobby tires were daangerrrrrous

Thanl you very much!
What is your riding weight?
Nice ! how do you compare it with a Master (apart from the suspension :)
Lynx is a finished wheel, master isn't 😅
True ! Mine is finish now, after some weeks :), my question was about performances... @@Ronin_Ryder

inner tubes so weak near to ventil . got flat tire the same reason .

How is its low-end torque compared to the extreme?
Day and night
What kinds of LED lights do you have on the pedals? I have been looking for something liike this for my begode master
Some aliexpress stuff, i forgot the name.
Good stuff.
To confirm though, can the rear lights be kept on with the 'lean to activate turn indicators' turned off?
Its either on or off.
So which street tire fits on the lynx? I hate to cst too.
Michelin, kenda, any u can find that fits a Sherman or master
