Calum Was born in Beverly, East Riding of Yorkshire. He auditioned on Britain's Got Talent in 2015. His sister auditioned but did not make it through. Calum auditioned right after his sister and made it through with a very slowed down version of Dancing on my Own.
Calum Scott has the BEST vocal audition I've ever heard. I've watched it so many times. He absolutely deserved the golden buzzer that Simon gave him, that shit was MAGICAL. So touching!!
The high-reaching religious tone of this song (the lyrics, not the video) remind me of Grayson Chance's "Holy Feeling." (Also not a song about religion, but about love.)
Callum Scott is an amazing singer! Unusual voice. His first big hit “You Are The Reason “ is so good but so sad because it was filmed entirely in Kyiv, Ukraine. Sadly that beautiful city doesn’t look the same anymore. No Matter What is beautiful too. He’s worth following as an artist! Great request, thanks Nick.
Won Britains got talent in 2015. Since he has traveled all around the world twice. He has two albums out. His second one “Bridges” all of the songs are breathtaking. He also recorded “Whistle” after his album was released. Upbeat, fun, and danceable. My number one favorites artist. World tour with Ed Sheeran starting this March. Best song “You are the Reason”.

I saw Calum Scott for the first time when he opened for Pentatonix her in California a few years ago and I was mesmerized by his talent and voice. Been a fan since. Other viewers will suggest other songs but my favorite is No Matter What. Basically a song about him coming out to his mom. The video is very well done and beware it may pull a few tears!

He arrived fully formed so to speak, the judges were blown away and he got Simon’s golden buzzer. Keep up the good work!

Such a talent...and such a story. You really should watch his Britain's Got Talent audition (watch the long version that also has his sister Jade's audition, too). The message and delivery of Biblical is so epic. You Are the Reason is another amazing song of his, both the solo version and the duet version (with Leona Lewis, and also with Ilsa Delange, a Dutch singer). He writes much of his own songs, as well. The guy is the real deal. So glad Alex got you exposed to his music. I would say the next song you should do of his is his audition from BGT. Im in a bit of “situation-ship” and this song has honestly been my saving grace to stay sane through it…..literally all of his songs are amazing. He started on britans got talent, him and his sister auditioned. Seeing his growth from there to now IS PHENOMENAL.
