- A beautiful song by Vicki Yoh'e. I think it's from around 1995. I couldn't find the details about who wrote it (although it appears to have been written by David Huff of David and the Giants fame.) I heard this for the first time on my local radio station the other day. Don't know how I missed it for 17 years.
It was indeed written by David Huff. I was part of his road crew during the Angels Unaware tour, yes 1995. Vicki would open many of the shows. While we were traveling on the bus...David and Vicki were sort of working this song out with just David playing an acousitc guitar and Vicki singing. I was really just so moved by how beautiful that was and to have been witness to this song being worked on. When I heard the studio version after Vicki's album came out....just loved it.

I was sent a recording of this song 2 days ago. Never heard the song or about the artist before then. Been listening to it more than 20 times over the past days and shared to many. It TELLS ME EVERYTIME I LISTEN......THE LOVE OF GOD, FATHER, SON & HOLY SPIRIT. HOW LOVED I AM AND HOW GRATEFUL TO HAVE BEEN CALLED TO RECEIVE THIS AMAZING LOVE. Just googled this song and artist. Heard it on my local Christan radio station just now. Never heard this masterpiece before. Been in such pain and depression and fear and shame for so long! I am saved but not close to the Lord anymore and I've lost all peace. I'm on my knees in front of my couch so humbled that all I have to do is repent and except HIS peace. I had the pleasure of seeing Vicki You at my home church(at the time) FULL Gospal International in Concord,Ca.
She had just signed with CeCe Winans label. This was one of the songs she wrote, along with Mercy Seat( a fav) before she signed.
And I tell ya, they still had cassettes back then.
I've tried to find that particular album, but I believe that with signing, those songs belong to the label now.
I wish they would release those songs. That album in particular. It was a rarity, where all the songs on it are great. You know...! 😁
