    Thank-you, thank-you for fighting the good fight. We'll try to stagger on without you as best we can, but we'll carry your hope and optimism like a torch! Bless you.

    I can distinctly remember watching this when it was first broadcast... it was one of the moments that solidified my faith in the NDP, honestly. Jack was the most charismatic leader ever and I couldn't agree with his beliefs more. RIP Jack, I never met you but I think I definitely knew you.

    It will honour Jack's memory if all us Canadians vote for change in the next federal election. It would be the completion of Mr. Layton's life work, to see a fairer Canada.
    Please honour Jack with your vote in the next federal election.
    R.I.P Mr. Layton, the best Prime Minister Canada never had.

    I wish that Air Farce would have continued with Penelope Corrin, Jessica Holmes, Craig Lauzon, and Alan Park. It would have been a great thing to continue. I certainly would have liked to have seen how they handled the COVID-19 crisis.

    @ROFLCOPT3R90210: Yes, and that reason is too many people are willing to accept the same status quo as opposed to going out to change the world themselves and standing up for those people whom the Conservatives and Liberals could care less about...working families, and the common Canadian. Jack cared, and Jack fought tooth and nail for his beliefs. In my opinion he was always fighting for the right reasons. You are entitled to your opinion, but as this is a free country, I am entitled to mine.

    I think Jack Layton would feel very cheated if the NDP got voted into a majority simply to honour his memory. That's what we call pity voting. Next federal election, please vote for the MP that will serve your constituency best, not one whose party leader happened to pass away.
    That that person is NDP, great. If not, there's no guilt in voting for what's best for the person best in your community.

    If Jack Layton was alive today, he would be the next prime minister in October 2015, and this country would get back some of it's old lustre , Harper must go and somebody has to step up.

      +Mike Kingsbury
      He had the same sort of warm personality fun loving charisma and down to earth charm that John Diefenbaker had, its a pity that passed away because today he'd probably be Prime Minister...and a fine PM he would have made.

    • @massimoricciardi6202

      Harper was just bland no emotions at all just boring to watch hearing him talk was like watching paint dry just like Jason Kenny now.

  • @BoredomCorner
    @BoredomCorner 12 років тому

    You just slandered a dead man, who the hell are you to say who deserves to die?

  • @BoredomCorner
    @BoredomCorner 12 років тому

    You're defending a guy who's wrecking Canada, and probably cheated for that privilege -- and on top of that, regularly silences and harasses anyone who questions him.
    Exactly how is that not idolizing?
