Loved listening to Giraud speaking about his emotions showing on the pages he was working on. Also on how the Airtight Garage seemed to happen and come together magically. Moebius had a huge impact on my enjoyment of comicbooks. Exposure to his work opened my eyes to the work of others outside of the world of mainstream comics. If David had more footage of the interview, I hope to see it on your Comic Book Historians.
The greatest genius if comics besides Jack Kirby, Ditko and Miller. One of the great masters who elevated the medium beyond the scope of mere mortals. A debt of gratitude to Jean is not enough to gratify the artform his influence inspired greatly. Dearly miss him ❤
R.I.P. Jean "Moebius" Giraud. He is still missed.
One of the giants. Thank you for this video.

Too much of a US-centric point of view, I've got to tell you that.
Easily one of the greats in Franco-Belgian art, alongside Druillet,Herge,Uderzo and many others.Moebius collabarations with Jodorowsky were legendary.
Thank you !✨
The illustration at 2:30 is from "Valérian" by Jean-Claude Mézières, not Moebius.
That’s intentional because he’s talking about Luc Besson at that moment
😃👍
is this him speaking or a dub? stupid question but i need to know
That’s video and audio of Moebius speaking recorded in one sitting. Not sure how it would be dubbed.
