I am 46 years Old guy from Colombia. Born in a region with Helicobacter pylori prevalence. Chronic athropic gastritis, metaplasia, abundant HP bacillus in gastric biopsia. 3 treatments, the 3rd one as a result of HP strain sample culture. It turned out it was resistant to Claritromicina and Metronidazol, sensitive to Levofloxacina, tetraciclina and amoxicilina 3rd treatment: levo, doxiciclina, amoxicillin, Bismuto and Esomepreazol. Hard one, my legs hurted and I couldn’t walk. One year later: no HP in biopsy. Mild Gastritis with no activity, no neutrophils. But the levo hurted me and I still have hands pain and some gastric symptoms still, like reflux sensation. Why my hands hurt? I had a blood test and it’s not arthritis, no autoimmune, it’s not any cancer (magnetic Tomography) In last endoscopy it was noticed a Hill type 1. Before one year it was type 2 and I felt much worse the reflux. The reflux was studied and it’s “non acidic” At least I don’t have the HP anymore but I don’t fell ok yet.
Such a thorough review! Learnt new things today! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
