Yes, Gold has a way of concentrating incredible value in a relatively small space. I don’t have anywhere near $80K in Gold (Yet) but I do have approximately $20K, and that’s a pleasantly satisfying little handful of Metal. Hopefully, if I’m able to live long enough to accumulate $80K worth, maybe I’ll post a UA-cam video, but until then I’ll stay in my lane and continue to try to scramble to accumulate more Gold..
Also worth mentioning that a 22k 1oz gold coin weighs more than a 24k 1oz gold coin but they are both worth the same as they both still have 1 oz of gold in them. Weight not karat.👍
1000 % I agree 👍. I am gold stacker from East world 🌎. I stack 24k gold bars only. I love gold stacking specially 24k bars. It's true money 💰. I love your videos. Appreciate it your support and help related to gold stacking
Stacking is cool but try not to get too focused on premiums etc. if you like a coin design, why not pay a bit more. It makes it a rewarding hobby as well as being a nice store of value. So many hobbies out there just burn capital, this is a rewarding hobby in more ways than just fun.
Well not that long ago I was buying gold maples for around $1300. I needed a used truck and had no money but I had more than enough gold. Not only did my gold retain it's value but in nominal terms it went up by hundreds. The truck cost me 2 ounces and a few grams.
Great video, Stormy 😎👍. Such great content and an even better gold stack. P. S. Under FDR’s order, people were allowed to keep $100 ($2,000 today) face value in gold, or 5 ounces. That would be worth around $10,000 in gold today.

Nice to hear you mention that gold is a store of wealth/value. That is one of the classic definitions of money (as I'm sure you know). Good gold intro video, man! 😃 👍
I'd like to educate myself on the matter: What is the average annual income in USD (before taxes) of someone who owns 50 to 100 oz of finegold? What would be the annual income of someone who owns around 400oz? Thank you
Again- everyone is different. Someone with a $100,000 average annual salary may not buy any gold. Someone with a $50,000 annual salary may value gold and buy as much as they can. See what I’m saying? There’s no way of knowing what someone’s avg salary is and how much gold they own. Plus, many stackers don’t share how much precious metals they own, too, out of an abundance of caution.
@@EmpirePreciousMetals you are right, it was pure guesswork. However, my question is, if someone owns, for instance, 50oz 999 (regardless of age and other considerations), what is most likely his/her annual income. So it wouldn't matter if some buy gold and some don't. I think, it is possible to come up with an educated guess, since we are talking about averages. I'll give it a try and post my findings incl methodology. If it was truly individual and very diverse , something like e.g. market segmentation for consumer products wouldn't be possible. Maybe also someone else would like to chime in.
I mean- if I were to guess, I’d say maybe $100k. I feel like the way prices are and how hard it is to make a living and save, the majority of people earning below $80-100k maybe aren’t buying as much gold. My guess is if anything, they’d be buying more silver since it’s more affordable.
The order specifically exempted "customary use in industry, profession or art," a provision that covered artists, jewelers, dentists, signmakers, etc.. The order also permitted any person to own up to $100 in gold coins, a face value equivalent to 5 troy ounces (160 g) of gold valued at approximately $10,000 in 2020. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Order_6102
the exact limit was prob not super common knowledge. so a lot of people might have only kept 1oz and most prob didnt even have the $100 face in gold coinage.
The AGE I prefer over pure gold. I like the durability and I feel them being AGE, makes up for the loss of purity. But I prefer Mexico’s gold over AGE 😏
