The name "tornado omelette" makes me sad. Please remember that it is actually "Dress de Omelette" (or Dressed Omelette). This is a Japanese "Dress de Omelette"(or Dressed Omelette). It was invented by a Japanese restaurant. However, it was arbitrarily changed to a completely unrelated dish name "Tornado Omelette" by Koreans. No one likes to have the name of their national dish changed by a foreigner to something that has a completely different meaning and then spread around the world. This dish is "Dress de Omelette" (or Dressed Omelette). The name comes from the fact that it looks like a dress. From one Japanese.
