In some maps I like to jump straight into a plane/jet so I can prevent other CAS players from getting to my team, it helps when you know what to do and how to use your plane. It also helps with the map having hills and mountains that I can use to hide my plane from aa or other planes
Tip: 13:58 in the "hit camera" you can see all the modules of the tank and his condition, for example you could see that he had a lot of ammunition in his hull and you could have killed him instantly. On some occasions the tanks you shoot at have already been damaged by other players, and when you hit them you can see in the hitcam which modules they have already damaged( Sometimes you can see their damaged modules just by shooting them with the machine gun)they are not perceived very well, but the already destroyed modules are black.
If you ever go down the soviet tech tree further go for the object 906. Its a very similar vehicle with a cannon thats a bit less powerful but its fully stabilised and has a 4.3 second autoloader.
hey Gav, you should try out killing in 8.0 with a low tier tank like the 15cm Slug. it gives a nice handful of SL and is called "God Mode" which is displayed whenever you get a kill with something at least 5.0 BR lower than your enemy's tank.
This one's my favourite tank in the game, it's amazing! I'd say getting the M48 105 next could be a good idea, even though you'd go up to 8.3, it's just that good imo
I've got the premium one (which might be an M47, can't recall) and I will say the turret traverse really saves the tank. You can occasionally bounce shots (more often than you'd think, I think because people get used to HEAT just penning everything and forget that angled armour can still bounce), but being able to react so quickly to anything with the turret is a godsend, especially in a BR range where Germany faces a lot of stabilised tanks without many of its own.
The downsides to 8.0 is the early HEAT and HEATFS protection that some tanks get, as well as where most early IFV (infantry fighting vehicle) gets decent APDS or high penning ammo, the XM800T can get rid of a leopard 1 if they know where to shoot as well as other tanks, the only ones that don’t really have problems is the Russian tanks. BMP, XM800T, FOX, etc etc have speed and high magazine for spraying ammo. HEAT and HEATFS will start to work on the sides, that is why it is difficult to stock grind high br tanks when they get HEATFS in the beginning. Also to note, is that just like the different nations they have different amounts of gun depressions, USA has the most overall in their nation, this map in particular has a lot of hills and crap where I can peak over and look, it helps if you have a rangefinder. I do this sometimes where I would go into custom matches and go around and checking different areas where I can use, just like other multiplayer games I use the custom matches to see what I can use to my advantage. You can try doing that but it’s up to you
This video makes me want to grind ght DF105 a bit more....I hate the HEAT rounds...but its supposed to be one of the best HEAT rounds in the game so I'll keep going - AWESOME video of the DF105
Another trollish thing i love doig with this vehicle is emptying out all the shells outside of the ammorack and baiting with the empty rear compartment
another cool one is the JaPz SK-105 Kürassier (JaPz.K A2 in game). pretty good gun but with an insane 4 second reload (APFSDS and can also carry the same heat shell from the DF105), capable mobility, pretty quick, but it has no stab and it has an oscillating turret so the gun depression is pretty garbage at only -6° and the elevation also sucks at only +13° you wont have a drivetrain eating shots like with the DF105 ive found it to be a pretty good sniper and a good flank tank. but dont overextend because the reverse speed isnt that great
Don’t forget to use your scouting more often mate Edit: you realise you need to use scouting more at 3:12, but still don’t use your scouting through out the video apart from once or twice 😂

It’s a nice stopgap between the Leopard 1 and the Leopard 1a1, and is a nice tank at a br when Germany is mostly slinging around TDs and light tanks.

Who doesn't like fast tanks with a good canon and maneuverability, they are some of the most fun tanks to play with

the AML 90 is so small, powerful, and fast with astounding HEATFS at 7.7

Definitely one of my favorite tanks on this BR. The gun-handling is the only thing that takes some getting used to.
