is the kyrie lows is good in shooting guards?
I wish people could get passed the idea of a mid or high shoe doing anything to prevent injury. I love playing in mids, lows or highs as long as the sole hits right and honestly I prefer the feel of lower shoes but the "style" goes to mids and highs.
People still think that higher shoes prevent injury that much. I mean, it can help but not as much as people think. As long as the shoes has a stable base, it doesnt matter at all. I do prefer mid to lower shoes too. However, as you said, the "style" its on higher tops shoes.
It helps by g8ving you feed back on ankle positioning cuz you can feel something there. But it doesn't prevent injuries necessarily
depends on ur playstyle. no one can predict how u will get injured
Exactly soccer players wear much lower shoes and make more aggressive cuts as well
Please do the Luka Doncic when they drop. They say they are good for lateral movement so wondering if they could be a decent tennis crossover shoe.

that ankle collar brings up a good topic u need to talk about. You should make a video that discusses high tops and ankle braces so people understand that support doesnt necessarily mean protection from ankle sprains

Zach: Love your focus on performance and tech! As you know finding the perfect fit it a challenge. If you had to choose between a shoe that was slightly long OR a slightly narrow which one would you go with for performance?

Have to go up 1 full size for wide feet. 10.5 to 11.5 for comfort.. that's how narrow it is. Prefer plush ankle of Infinity but for 2E wide go up 1 full size also
Either go up a half size if you like that close fit or go up a full size if like a little room in your shoes.

The zoom unit in this shoe from the specs sheet look like it's similar to the Kyrie Flytrap 5. small rectangular Zoom units. Zach you should do a teardown of the Flytrap 5.

Nike just officially announced it and I haven’t seen any youtubers in Asia feature them yet so we’re probably going to have to wait longer before Doc Zach gets a pair of those which he definitely will considering the tech and the “fact” that they’re basically the 14 lows so comparisons to the 14s can be made.
@@thormolecules they are already for sale on stock x. Also the kd 14 and 15 are completely different setup between cushlon and react. In no way is it a "14 low"
@@joeybananas6175 oh wow. Yea I wouldn’t buy it for those prices. That’s a huge ripoff for something that will sell for retail and free shipping when it’s officially released in stores. But anywho, yes I know they replaced the cushlon with react but when I say they are the lows I mean their overall look. The biggest differences being they replaced the strap with a midfoot cage and the traction is different. Btw it’s common for Nike to change the cushioning setups when going from the regular signature sneaker to the low (just check out the lebrons).
@@joeybananas6175 overall I’m excited to try them because of the react. They just kept a lot of the upper from the 14 and modified it slightly which is why I think Nike probably couldn’t come up with something totally different and decided not to release them as the 14 lows and call them the 15s instead. I mean just look at how different the 12s, 13, and 14s are to each other aesthetically.

Just copped the Kyrie low 5s today cause my pg 6 grip on the bottom collects dust so I constantly gotta wipe the dust off so it really comes down to if you’re gonna play outside or indoor with em if u finna be outside then go wit the pg 6 but inside the Kyrie low 5s would be better cause they have really good grip

Sprained my ankle the first time I played in these. Poor lateral containment around the ankles.
Maybe that’s just the fit but I’ve been playing high level basketball in these for 2months and they’re the perfect shoe

Kyries signature shoes always have that entry level super cheap materials look to them. I know their price point is between $100 - $130 but i can give you plenty of models within the same price range in the same brand that perform and look a lot better.
