Idk where people are getting this information that Vaseline is horrible for your skin especially with the eyes. It is actually safe to use especially if you have dry skin. Many dermatologists have encouraged Vaseline to help with your skin barrier. If you are allergic to Vaseline, that is different and you only use a small amount. If you don't want to use Vaseline, petroleum-based balms such as Aquaphor and CeraVe healing ointment works as well. It may not work for those who have oily skin but trust me, it is not 'dangerous'.
Yes! I always use Vaseline or Aquaphor to seal in my eye cream before bed. It really does make a difference in hydration plus it makes fine lines look softer in the morning.

She’s lucky to be genetically blessed with such great skin despite picking her acne. My face is ridden with scars but I’m learning to love myself still.

Her acting on euphoria is totally off the charts. She is required to explode with So much emotion that it must be completely exhausting. If you pay attention to her she just uses facial expressions on a regular basis to communicate her thoughts and feelings and you never have to guess what she’s going for. Her character is on the verge of a complete emotion disaster. I don’t know how you get prepared to shoot scenes like that because it has to be incredibly difficult unless you are just naturally gifted. I’m shocked at her talent. Thank god the casting for euphoria found her.
Guys i swear the tip Sydney gave in this, using vaseline under your eyes works a 100% ! I’ve never really been an under eye type of girl just cuz i feel like that stuff won’t make a difference plus it’s really expensive but Vaseline on the other hand 👀 game changer !! Thanks Syd ❤️
The rash is perioral dermatitis, usually need antibiotics for it to go away. I get it when I use harsh retinols that irritate my skin. So annoying when I'm trying to stay young looking 😅
Yes, definitely sounds like she's irritating her skin a lot which probably has caused perioral dermatitis! I also developed it from using too much harsh acid peels and heavy creams...
Yassss love epidou forte gel for acne. For anyone with persistent acne or cystic acne, it’s totally worth mentioning to your dermatologist. It’s prescription only but def worth it !
Am i the only one who feels that in these skincare routine the ladies look so pretty without makeup like to an extent i feel they look way better than they do with makeup
Vaseline is great to lock in all your serums and such but girrrrrl, there’s so many better oil based products for your eye makeup that will wash off better so that your serums can penetrate better! I personally use Farmacy Green Clean because I find that it washes off with no residue and I love fragranced products (I don’t have any fragrance sensitivities) but there’s lots that cost less and/or are fragrance free!
i relate so hard to when she said she doesn't have picture "proof" of her acne cuz she doesnt want it, because same. it is insane how awful having bad skin can be for mental health.
Whenever I see people say they have sensitive skin and then load a bunch of products on their face without even a hint of redness or irritation I get jealous 😂 Wish my face would get with the program!
omg wait i use vaseline too to take my mascara off and it does wonders! no lashes falling out from the rubbing or harsh makeup removers, instead its a good sub for that
Yes it’s correct to use oil dry on face to remove makeup then add water to make an emulsion 👍 although I don’t think using Vaseline is the best to use on the eyes! I think using micellar water or something else is better
Yes! She should use an oil cleanser, or a micellar water first, then go in with her cleanser. And the Vaseline is good as just a last step to lock all of her other products in.
The double cleansing is a new phenomenon. It does not have any data backing up that it will work for everyone. I think people need to understand that what works for her may not work for you. So if she is going to a dermatologist or facialist and they are okay with it, then let her enjoy her Vaseline. We do not need to be Hyram or any skincare content creator in every Harper's Baazar video. She is putting everything in the right order. Let the girl put her tiny bit of Vaseline around her eyes. She said it is working for her.
@@dorlisastjean4072 it’s not the Vaseline around her eyes that’s the problem it’s using it to remove makeup! That is bad. Yes I agree what works for some may not work for others but watching the video Sydney said she wasn’t even sure it was right lol 😂 maybe more research and experimenting can help.
i think i used to use vaseline to remove eye makeup, so she just unlocked an old, forgotten memory. how does she not have scars if she picked her acne? is that possible? (if it is, i’m jealous) her skin looks so great regardless & i’m glad that she was able to find what works for her. she’s gonna go far in the industry, there’s just something about her, aside from her physical beauty, that is alluring.
i used to have acne scars because i picked my acne too, and i started to use la roche posay effaclar duo creme at night (it would dry my skin if i use it twice a day as reccommended, i have dry sensitive skin, that’s why some acne appears) and it had a huge impact on my skin overall. i got rid of my scars from my cheek bone area, they are not gome but are less visible. it’s true that i dont have a bad case of acne, just pimples that appear due to breakouts of my sensitive skin, but you can try the cream, after a month or so of constantly using it i started noticing a differeance🤍
Speaking from personal experience, I’ve had extremely bad acne throughout my teenage and it is only now that I’ve fully understood my skin that I can safely say that I am acne-free. I too used to pick at my skin, get scars and then the scar would disappear.. maybe it’s the age where your skin is renewing itself so quickly the scars leave I don’t know. But yes it is possible that having picked at your acne at a young age you don’t have scars anymore. That plus, in another video ( vogue beauty secrets I believe ) we see her use the niacinamide serum by The Ordinary, that plus the prescription medicine she showed in the video and, as an earlier comment mentioned, treatments could definitely have gotten rid of all her scars.

Sydney exudes incredible energy, she is a wonderful woman, I love her! 💟
I have oily acne prone skin, and vaseline as an under eye cream works like a dream. It's been a year and I had no breakouts from it, no millia, just a wrinkle-free under eye and I'm 30.
she’s so sweet i have so much love for her.❤️🩹
Her laugh is the most sweet, pure thing on this earth 💗
The rashes around your mouth and nose is probably dermatitis! My derm gave me a soap to use whenever it breaks out and it’s so helpful!
I have been using Vaseline under my eyes for years! Omg I’m so glad someone else does it too! 😊
I use aquaphor as an eye cream. I think as long as your skin can handle it, go for it. It’s probably one of the best ways to keep moisture in the skin
Yes! So right by our individual skin’/s needs 🫰🫰🫰
she has the most perfect skin omg
Thank you very much for the in depth information on many subjects. I really appreciate this support, as I see it. There’s a crazy world of skin health/ care out there and reading and listening to this channel has given a lot of insights. Thank you!😍😍😍
Her haircut frames her face so well. She's so adorable
SHE'S SO PRETTY I LOVE HER SM
it's the glass glowing skin for me ✨
She’s lucky to be genetically blessed with such great skin despite picking her acne. My face is ridden with scars but I’m learning to love myself still.
same. keep going :”)
Same 🙄 try retinol but research it first before using or mixing with other products
Do your research properly. She has a sensitive skin type.
She's so happy, cheerful and sweet! Really liked watching this routine. And oh, her nightwear looks super cute on her!! 🥰
She has the most beautiful skin i’ve ever seen
She has such an interesting, youthful (for some reason) and cute eye-shape… No wonder why she was picked to play a role as a teenager! Lots of love from Brazil, Sydney (best wishes to you and your career in acting world)!!! ♥️
youthful 😂 I mean she’s young not old so
Well she's still young
@@annapsom.9 she is playing a highschooler tho, some people her age couldn't pass that age any more, she definitely can (even tho euphoria doesn't really dress them like highschoolers lol) plus you can have youthful features even if you are young or old
they’re downturned (negative? canthal tilt) so she looks like a doll
@@faye7199does this actually make you look younger? I have very similar eyes and I feel like a fish lol
HER SKIN IS FLAWLESS!
Her laugh and smile is everythingg
Can we simply appreciate the fact that she tied her hair back fully. So many people put on masks and wash their faces with their hair down and some of them have face framing pieces and it just pisses me off.
I love her and I truly love Laniege... but thought people should know she is the official face of Laneige and is paid to advertise it (not sure why she didn't mention that...)
But I do love the product and she is gorgeous!!! love these videos, keep them coming Harper's Bazaar!
You guys should disclose that she's a Laneige partner
Amen
She has such a lovely personality while being beauty incarnate, I can't !!
I’ve been using Laneige for years and honestly, I can’t find a moisturizer that works for my skin than Laneige. It’s nice to see a celebrity that doesn’t go over board with their skin care and using affordable products.
The rash is perioral dermatitis. See a dermatologist and they will give you something to make it go away faster. Also make sure none of your products have sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS)! 💖
Especially your toothpaste or shampoo!
Or phenoxyethanol!!!!
@@Anna-op6bk I was struggling so much since last December because something triggered my allergies and I got eczema which worsed and my neck and under eyes swelled up due to my lack of knowledge that I had eczema and even after my treatment most of my new skincare kept triggering it and I was struggling to figure it out until your comment, so thank you so much ✌️ , really appreciate it.
Doxycycline was the only thing that made mine go away. & I’m pretty darn knowledgeable with skin health. If you’re really struggling, it’s probably time to see the doc :/
Her skin is gorgeous!! Don’t know if it’s the lightning but I would say her skin seems to be no longer a combination skin (seems to be normal rn Idk)… Good for her health!! ♥️
Her acting on euphoria is totally off the charts. She is required to explode with
So much emotion that it must be completely exhausting.
So happy that her fav cleanser is from Korea! btw love you Sydney 💕
I wish the titles in these videos had a basis in reality. She is the best looking female on this planet.
Even in the thumbnail picture, she looks gorgeous!
The rash is perioral dermatitis, usually need antibiotics for it to go away. I get it when I use harsh retinols that irritate my skin. So annoying when I'm trying to stay young looking 😅
When scrolling to see if anyone else commented this. Great work team
Yes, definitely sounds like she's irritating her skin a lot which probably has caused perioral dermatitis! I also developed it from using too much harsh acid peels and heavy creams...
Jesus Christ her skinnnnnn 😍😍😍😍😍 and can we talk about her eye shape it's soooooo beautiful
Yassss love epidou forte gel for acne. For anyone with persistent acne or cystic acne, it’s totally worth mentioning to your dermatologist.
It’s prescription only but def worth it !
Zinc and vitamin a+e. UA-cam it! You'll be thanking God for how clear and healthy your skin looks!
@@pvoss3073 I also take these :) Along with vitamin C, magnesium, and lutein for eye health.
same! my derm prescribed me with it and all the little bumps on my face disappeared within a few days
she inspires me because i've had acne for 10 years now. and she has perfect skin
She is a paid spokesperson for Laneige, which she did not disclose. Do not buy any of these products if you have acne, they are horribly irritating.
@@hampstercrazy ty for letting me know, that's sad :(
Am i the only one who feels that in these skincare routine the ladies look so pretty without makeup like to an extent i feel they look way better than they do with makeup
Spokesperson for LANEIGE, doesn’t mention it.
MANIFESTING THAT SHE WILL GET NOMINATED FOR EMMY THIS YEAR 🕯🕯🕯deserves that more than anyone!!!
Vaseline is great to lock in all your serums and such but girrrrrl, there’s so many better oil based products for your eye makeup that will wash off better so that your serums can penetrate better! I personally use Farmacy Green Clean because I find that it washes off with no residue and I love fragranced products (I don’t have any fragrance sensitivities) but there’s lots that cost less and/or are fragrance free!
i relate so hard to when she said she doesn't have picture "proof" of her acne cuz she doesnt want it, because same. it is insane how awful having bad skin can be for mental health.
takeaway is the right quantity of each product she uses on her skin...no wastage of product...I learnt something ❤
SHE IS SO PRETTY!
I love her sm especially the fact that she did mma I guess... she's so beautiful
Whenever I see people say they have sensitive skin and then load a bunch of products on their face without even a hint of redness or irritation I get jealous 😂 Wish my face would get with the program!
Literally I have to be so careful what I use!
Hey Sydney your beauty amazed my world, when I saw you smile I feel less depressed and your cuteness cured my heart. Thank you and god bless you
she's so sweet im in love w her sm
omg wait i use vaseline too to take my mascara off and it does wonders! no lashes falling out from the rubbing or harsh makeup removers, instead its a good sub for that
HER HAIRRR OH MY GOD
Yes it’s correct to use oil dry on face to remove makeup then add water to make an emulsion 👍 although I don’t think using Vaseline is the best to use on the eyes! I think using micellar water or something else is better
Exactly, I feel like she would benefit from the double cleanse method
There’s no way oil and water can make an emulsion!
She shouldve been the one casted for the new Regina George
sydney is literally so beautiful, I literally idolized her 💜💜💜 luv u sydney
sydney radiates biggest sweetheart. love her
i love the energy that sydney brings, the video was incredible
her laugh is just adorable
SYDNEY IS MY FAVORITE!
she is so sweet i loved watching this video and her tips🥹❤️
Her skin is so radiant
i think i used to use vaseline to remove eye makeup, so she just unlocked an old, forgotten memory.
how does she not have scars if she picked her acne? is that possible? (if it is, i’m jealous) her skin looks so great regardless & i’m glad that she was able to find what works for her.
she’s gonna go far in the industry, there’s just something about her, aside from her physical beauty, that is alluring.
I know I was going to comment about her having no scars! Dang I wish I could have been that lucky!!
Probably she is doing lasers/microneedling and other treatments that help with scaring.
I steal some of my sister's prescription salicylic acid ointment for her skin condition to get rid of my acne scars lol
i used to have acne scars because i picked my acne too, and i started to use la roche posay effaclar duo creme at night (it would dry my skin if i use it twice a day as reccommended, i have dry sensitive skin, that’s why some acne appears) and it had a huge impact on my skin overall. i got rid of my scars from my cheek bone area, they are not gome but are less visible. it’s true that i dont have a bad case of acne, just pimples that appear due to breakouts of my sensitive skin, but you can try the cream, after a month or so of constantly using it i started noticing a differeance🤍
Always wet or dampen your skin before cleansing with anything
Vaseline is one of the best skin sealant for any moisturizer
Cassandra Bankson needs to watch this 👀
she sounds and talks like shes abouit to burst into tears at any moment
she's so prettyyy
that robe from jennifer coolidge is great haha!
she's so flawless istg im so in love with her vibe
One of the few celebrities with an affordable skincare routine.
anyone else jealous of how clear & beautiful her skin looks!??
Sydney can play the most badass and emotional teenager ever, her acting is so realistic
sydney’s laugh is probably the prettiest laugh i’ve ever heard
