Thank you Mixmaster Howie 🙏🙏 my last 3 videos are better so stay tuned....At the track in LasVegas your always shooting into the sun until around 3 or 4 pm which is when the final Pro sessions begin.
Wicked footage mate. Great to see so many cars in action, we here in the U.K. have some great races and events but due to our weather and how small of a country we are we don't have a great amount of top fuel or specialised vehicles. We only have one drag strip left in operation(may be more just not aware). Hope to visit the states one day to whiteness some action on a strip over there!
Awesome Quality and Sound. Just wondering, here in Australia it is very rare to see nitro burners. Do you ever get bored seeing so many in the US. I'm guessing that would never happen. I'm going to visit the US just to watch as many NHRA events as I can. You deserve more subs.
Thank you wyld0001, I hope to gain more subs over the offseason for NHRA . Maybe the fans will click on UA-cam to watch some of my racing videos 👍. As far as boredom goes NEVER at a NHRA National or Divisional race, there is not a lot of Nitro teams left anymore compared to the 1970’s, 1980’s & 1990’s so just the reduction in teams will keep NHRA fans longing for the return of its glory days, The same can be said for Prostock , sometimes there’s only 16 on the property so everyone automatically qualifies for Sunday eliminations. I remember when Prostock had 25 to 30 Prostockers fighting to make a spot in the 16 for Sunday, TopFuel dragster and Nitro Funnycar use to have several cars not make the show as well BUT within the last 12 years or so the fields have continued to get smaller. However I’m sure you will enjoy yourself at a NHRA National event. Some people go to football games every week during the season to see there favorite team & they never get bored of it & some purchase season tickets for many years, in my case I can’t picture myself getting bored even if I could make all 22 races on the tour.👍
Awesome footage and editing boss man! What kind of camera do you use? Quality is amazing! And BTW had you not zoomed in, I would have never known that was Kebin Kinsley driving the Worshams car lol
Currently I’m using the Sony FDR-AX53 camcorder But I’m looking at a 4k@60fps camcorder by Sony. Wait till NHRA reschedules Pomona or Sonoma, I’m gonna have more footage in the pits & racing.👍👍👍
What’s it take to get 10,000hp to the wheels? A gallon plus per second under acceleration. So much fuel is hitting the cylinders and being compressed that it essentially becomes a solid before ignition so the engine is operating on the brink of hydraulic lockup! When they do lockup the force blows the heads right off the block. They’re literally only good for a few thousand rpm before it’s time to rebuild. One run and done. At the end of the run the spark plugs have literally been consumed and the engine is “dieseling” - the only way to stop it is to cut the fuel.
Rob Haunui Thanks bro, I’m trying to bring the race to those who couldn’t attend or those who want to relive it....with a camera it’s always a tricky task, sometimes you can turn a person off by the way you record the race BUT hopefully I can keep getting better to I feel satisfied but until then I keep studying my videos after every shoot to see how I can improve the next time out, I got a few tricks up my sleeve for next year so stay tuned bro.🙏👍
You sir, are a retiree's dream come true. Super!!! Thanks for the upload and keep up the great work!!!
