Trying the new Claude 3.5 for the first time after two years of daily use of different LLMs, I experienced the first real sparks of human-like intelligence. Great model!
the other day i was using Claude 3.5 and in the results it stated it ignored SEO optimised sites as they were junk. interesting developments indeed.
That is very interesting. SEO is dying and I wonder if it's replacement is simply the scrutiny of AI that search out actually useful information.
This interview, EVIDENTLY, is SO LAST WEEK. 😏 We got Claude 3.5 Sonnet, supposedly with better metrics 🧐 than Opus, now. 🤯 You can even run it from your Perplexity Account. 🤩
Nope. Tried it yesterday. Underperformed badly vs gpt4o and opus, for my use case (pretty simple web scraper program)

For me, I really appreciate the humility and simplicity of Mr Srinivas. Less competition and more results oriented leadership is vital in this AI wave

I feel like perplexity is gonna be one of the few companies that last when new models like gpt5 come out. AI companies I mean, I don't think GPT5 is gonna end employment or something.
Google has started using LLM in its search, but sourced like Perplexity. This has destroyed Perplexity. It’s cat and mouse, everyone is chasing the best LLM.
