@@melp6583 not really...The English subs are not the original version of the song as Jessi had different lyrics for the English version (check her Showterview episode). The song has undergone changes in both Korean & English (subs) versions, so it's hard to say what was original & she is not directly translating her English versions into Korean or vice versa. Jessi is bilingual songwriter, she tries to convey the song's originality in both languages. Koreans have picked up on Korean nuances & wordplay in the song, while English-speaking reviewers have noted the song's attitude & swag via English subtitles of the Korean lyrics. I find a lot of her Korean lyrics are taken from her comments in Korean show appearances of 2020. FYI, a lot of KPOP songs are originally written & recorded in English. I dont know how or by whom it gets translated into Korean, & then given English subs in MVs. But, we know that all of Jessi's songs have Jessi's personal approval & input, because she is bilingual + she fights to convey the lyrics in the way she wants, in both languages. Not many soloists, anywhere in the world, can do this.
