It's called investing in the rich, when a rich person joins if people give that person robux they expect more back. Basically, the double challenge.
When the rich person leaves without donating the people that gave him, it usually causes anger which leads to the scammer problem to earn it back.
Now ofc the easiest reason to why he receives so much is because he has good content, others probably don't even have a channel, which leads to no donations.
I could be completely wrong but with my 2 years of playing this is what I think [sorry for yapping I just go into detail]

This VIP method only works for popular YT's or other people of that sort. If a random person that the community has no idea about went to one of those servers they would get absolutely nothing, and sometimes they would even be mocked for not being 'known'. This is from my experience.

Great stuff man! Keep it up! :) But what's really unfortunate is that 40% of what is donated to people, isn't given to them. I feel like Roblox should really fix this issue, although yeah, they are a big corporate company and do of-course, need to make their own money somehow.

Hey eagle eyes I’ve been trying as hard as I can to try get donated but after months of trying I only get 600 donated. I don’t know what to do I’ve watched countless videos of how to get donated I tried begging I tried to afk and nothing seemed to work. I even donated all of what I raised to see if I would get more donations but it seemed like that wasn’t the case. I want the 4$ monthly pls donate pass to get rich servers maybe but I have to get money myself and clearly at a young age like me I don’t have a job.
