The sound is really great and rich. But: Dr_bassius pls take care not to overplay with your 7string. You have to choose tones very carefully. Basses in the background can go now, this bass is the only instrument a bassist needs in addition to an upright bass. Thumps up!
That is the sexiest bass I've ever seen. Love that extra function with the hip shot tuner. Saves having to get a low f# string. Whats your opinion on a BTB 7 something more in my price range. 👍
A master built fodera that came in a gig bag. For the amount we all know you spent on this thing, it’s insane that they couldn’t make a custom case or find a case that would fit. You had to spend at least 7-15k on that thing.
I chose. It’s 47” long and I don’t use hard cases for gigs. It wasn’t cost effective to make a tear drop case to fit it. This case is perfect for my needs. Thanks for watching!!
The 6 string bass has a lower string than the standard 4 string E. And one higher. a C. So the strings are B-E-A-D-G-C on a six. the EADG strings are an octave lower that the guitar's counterpart EADG strings. The 7 string adds a higher string, F.
Well, a guitar is tuned E-A-D-G-B-E but a six string bass is tuned B-E-A-D-G-C, so it adds a lower string compared to a 4 string (E-A-D-G) and a higher one that is tuned C instead of a high B like a guitar

Previously, I noticed that Fodera's 7 string basses were typically 35" inch scale and tend to have the 16.5mm spacing bridge. I also noticed that most of them were using the Emperor II body shape (with the exception of a really, really old 7-String Monarch picture that I have and Anthony Wellington's Emperor 7 Bolt-on).

Fodera selected the case because of the length of the instrument. it's so long that it wouldn't fit in any of their hard cases! :0

Thanks so much! They’re likely to update when they get back to the shop on the 4th. It’s a 34” with 17.5mm spacing. This is also the viceroy body.
