My man!? ... you put up the best flicks , thank you much for posting 👍👍
Trem Carr was one of the producers that made B-westerns in the early 30's. There was also Lone Star, which most of this crew moved on to, and a new lead actor was brought on from Vitagraph: John Wayne. Most all would move on to Republic when it was formed out of several small companies in 1935.
I'm happy to see that bob Steele has a lot of fans still. He was one of the best.
My mom spotted Bob Steele in F Troop and said he was her favorite cowboy Star as a little girl.
Bob Steele was my father's favorite movie cowboy hero when he was growing up. He always talked about the little guy who'd beat up all the big guys, which would appeal to a kid. When I was a kid, I knew Bob Steele as Trooper Duffy on "F Troop".
Classic Bob Steele. Love it.
7:29 - The guy playing Shamrock gives up his terrible attempt at an Irish accent for bit. This isn't a criticism, I love things like that, you can get from old films. Rough and ready but loads of enthusiasm. Films nowadays are made from scenes edited from a dozen takes and I don't ever feel close to the actors like I can with lots of the old movies.
Cheers for this and all that you provide us with.
Shamrock is Gabby Hayes!?*@!! Does this ring a bell???
hah. downmouthing my favorite gabby hayes. yeah his irish accent is a bit off... but he is always fun.
Thanks for sharing it! I always enjoy watching Old Western Movies though. 👍👌👏
An of course, I'm a subscriber!
Thanks Again Though.
Thx PF, I think he's shorter than me but quite the athlete. I've seen him in other movies, very impressive stunts.
Like the phone.

The Good Guys Win. Bob Steele Can Ride A Horse..
Yahoo!!!!! The man from Hell's edges.😂
Just the edges? Is that like Satan's suburbs?
@ Rob - it’s not The Man from Snowy River. Hell’s Edges is the name of Penitentiary where the film begins. So I guess they’re saying there are worse places to be sent to.
🤠👍🏿
🤔 Well his wrist became unbroken quite quickly I'll say 🤣🤣🤣
Bob Steele is my (the) man
and I ain't even queer
That is what they mean when they say a Very Good Man is a Man's Man, in those terms always means he was never a La Ti Dah man good for nothing but chasing females.
Great Stuff, Still think He was better as the Heel
Actually, Walla Walla is the town where the state prison of Washington State is located. Interesting. Interesting that the horse almost drowned as it was forced to jump off a cliff into the waters down then swim across with a rider on his back. On the shore he couldn’t even stand up. Just watch him struggle. And after telling each other their confessions of love they couldn’t kiss, but only touch cheek to cheek. 1932, you’all. And where did Shamrock get the handcuffs? Did he just carry them around with him just in case? Plothole. Oh, wait. That’s why. Never mind. But will the lovers EVER kiss??? God, I hope so!!!
I heard John Wayne interviewed on radio years ago. He said there was no protection from inhumane treatment of animals in Hollywood in the early days. Animals were often treated badly. Terrible.
He kissed the girls in other movies, but this time he had a bloody nose, guess he didn't have a handkerchief.
Ça sent le ptit budjet mais ça ce regarde
