How to reach Giessbach Waterfall from Brienz, Switzerland
In this vlog, we share how to reach one of the most popular waterfalls in Switzerland -- Giessbach Falls near Brienz. You can also reach Giessbach Falls by cruise ship/ ferry from either Interlaken or Brienz and take the funicular. You can also go behind the waterfall. If you take the funicular up, consider hiking down.
Best Time To Visit: May/June or August/September. We visited in October and the ferry was not operational so we decided to hike.
You can also take a bus from Brienz Railways station to the bus stop near the entrance of the Grand Hotel Giessbach Waterfall. There's also a parking lot. You can also drive if you are not interested in hiking to the waterfall from Iseltwald or Brienz.
