I think Dappy had the front of someone who wasn’t humble but on the inside he was. He was simply backing himself, cause nobody else did or had done. He’s had a shitty life, great moments but finding your father dead on the couch at such a young age, being from the wrong side of tracks and making it big with a terrible management team who didn’t protect him in anyway. The UK papers tore him to absolute pieces. He deserves so much better xx I still think he is one of the most talented people in the UK of my generation.

Even though Dappy has been around for ages and used to do sing-rapping from the start, I'd say his style was different back then (check out some N-Dubz tracks, the group he used to be in, and you'll see it's not the same). Apparently there was another UK rapper Drake liked and based his flow off of, but I forget the name... So I wouldn't say he copied Dappy as such, but maybe the other guy lol. Dappy has probably evolved a bit with the trends and that probably led his style becoming more similar to Drake than it was, but he had a bit of that style already, so I don't think he truly copied anyone... I dunno... Regardless, I think Dappy sounds way better lol. He does more than just that too... Dappy kinda does a bit of everything.
