This is an excellent video that represents exactly how the GPS screen appears. I just got the Drivesmart 55 and there is absolutely no reflection on the screen, even in the brightest sunlight. However, if you hold your phone up to it and try to take a still picture, your picture will show reflection from the screen.

Exactly. A few days back I thought I already figured out that between TomTom and Garmin, TomTom is the most mature product, but after watching these videos, voice control, better route calculation for trucks etc, etc, Garmin seems like a much more mature/better navigation system than TomTom. It does seem that Garmin dedicates much more effort in improving their product, while TomTom, I don't know, it seems like it's more about their people are doing some minimal work because they know they're paid anyway, while Garmin seem to have a team that's actually kind of interested/curious in improving their product (I mean the voice control of it vs that of TomTom - the difference is impressive). Also I looked for example at rating of their Android apps - Garmin has quite high ratings. That means they make apps that actually work as they're supposed and people appreciate them. But these are just my impressions, imagination, maybe it's not so at all.

Używasz jeszcze takiego Garmina? Jak się sprawuje i jak ze świeżością map???
Tak używam go. Mapy są aktualizowane 4 razy w roku za darmo po wi-fi.
@@h20ltech a jakość aktualizacji na jakim poziomie? Obecnie używam automape i chce się przesiąść na coś innego stąd zainteresowanie garminem.
trzeba być połączonym po bluetooth żeby mieć aktualizację o korkach itd.?
W tym modelu nie konieczne. Bo ma traffic receiver wbudowany w ładowarkę.
