Dan Douthart turns miniature bird houses.(Part 1)

Dan Douthart shows how to turn miniature decorative bird houses involving varying degrees of hollowing. The design and process relies heavily on jigs for 1) holding the bird houses and 2) permitting reverse chucking.

The live center is from Craft Supply (www.woodturnerscatalog.com) item #103-006 with accessory point H (1/4" cup). This is the made in the USA version by Precision Machine.
