My #1 recommendation, Grab a random circuit from the store doesn't matter what. Copy it, you learn how it works this way, slowly but it's how I did it. No it's not the most efficient but you actually learn by trial and error, instead of just being told how it works. I'm not discouraging tutorials they are great, I just find this trick easier for myself.
Amazing video! As a college student, this was one of the best teachings I have seen on the channel. The utilization of slides and backtracking works perfectly, especially when discussing a complicated topic like circuits. This style of teaching should definitely be used more often, particularly when explaining circuits to beginners. Big props to Rec Room and the teacher!
This was a really good tutorial! I really wish it went more in-depth on Networking, but otherwise, it should be really helpful to new creators on the platform
how to go insane challenge (i mean, it's easy to think about but hard to implement, first you gotta make a node system with connections, and then you gotta make something to autogenerate tags and allow node connection/visualization on hover mainly for human convenience, and then you gotta make an implementation of dijkstra for the object to actually know where to go, and then you gotta make go to where it wants, and depending on your wants you may want it to not follow the nodemesh if direct line of sight from closest node to target, you may want it to have "velocity" which requires lerp i think, you may want it to jump, you may want it to have collision which ties in with literally everything previously mentioned except line of sight, it's the epitome of "easier said than done")
i mean cryptic watched it and commented and they're really good at circuits (there's also me but mentioning myself right after i mention a person i would consider as GODLIKE at cv2 feels kinda like i'm implying i'm also like that when i'm not), so you aren't alone ig

23:25 self ports are especially handy for referring a circuit to the couple of components in the game that can't be tagged like animation controllers.

Because it’s now editable so that’s why the lighting looks weird
It uses the default maker room lighting settings instead of the dorm room scene lighting
Please notice this if you can try and release the dorm room update where you can delete some bits
