Milt is a noun with multiple meanings:
Fish sperm: The sperm-containing fluid of male fish, mollusks, and other water-dwelling animals that reproduce by spraying the fluid onto roe. It's also known as soft or white roe and has a creamy texture. Milt can be sold fresh, frozen, or canned, and can be eaten cooked or fried. It can be sliced or chopped on canapés, or mixed into salads, soups, and stews.Sperm sacs or testes: The reproductive glands of a fish that contain the semen.Edible fish, shellfish, or roe: Broadly including freshwater fish.
The word "milt" may come from the Middle Dutch word milte, which means "of fish" or "spleen".

Do you lower the water level to help the fry attach easier the first few days after they hatch? Great video!

I definitely used to drop the water and removed black sponge filters but I do not anymore just because I had multiple breeders back in the day and just couldn't keep up. I found it probably helps but my success rate was so high I stopped and never really had any issues.

Have you ever tried a central system with a sump?

I have and did not like the lack of control per tank and if something goes wrong it's usually very expensive to correct. It's hard to use the cya method in a central system. I prefer the slow and steady method, each tank is its own system. Just a personal preference.

I also don't use the auto water change system anymore, it made me "Lazy" and cost me over 10,000 in the mentality that's "its handled" I left the hobby because of both these systems and decided if I'm not going to spend at least 2-3 hours a day in my room I won't get back into the hobby. This have made my room extremely productive and profitable and I'm enjoying every day ☺
