- Skyrim's modding scene is undeniably among the most impactful in the history of gaming. Even after you've beaten The Elder Scrolls 5 entirely, thanks to an abundance of mods on the Nexus, you're far from from out of content. Every week, dozens of new mods are produced, some big, some small but almost all are worth exploring and some creations are especially unique and deserving of attention. So today, we'll be singing yet another song for Skyrim's mod authors as we explore five more amazing, immersive mods for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.

@@meshuggahlad7 I know right? They kind of ruined his character in Rebels. I mean, Disney takes a beloved character and makes him look like the biggest chump in the galaxy. However, the newer novels actually kind of stay faithful to the original character, so that's a plus.

I went immediately to Nexus to find this Midwood Isle mod!! Everything about it is in German!! It doesn't indicate a button to get it in English.
Are you sure you didn't accidentally click on a German translation patch?

I haven't gotten any mods for Skyrim yet, what mods do y'all recommend I get first?
@@rafgeymir I recommend you get skyrim script extender and nexus mod manager first, then you can start installing mods to you game. I would recomend you install SkyrimUI, The unofficial skyrim se patch and Inigo (this mod is one of the best followers mod in my opinion, adds a lot of immersion and fun to your playthrough) You can always browse the nexus by yourself and find the mods you like.

Nate, as much as I want to, I don't have time to mod and replay Skyrim. Your videos are always a blessing and a curse. Slowly building a list for future reference though. ;)
Sometimes I'm afraid that the modders' largest project are going to be out by the time ES VI comes out

The Econony mod should be compatible with Immersive patrols & civil wars.

Just a note on Midwood Isle, you can't go unless you've done The Way of the Voice, so if you did an alternate start and avoided Helgen, you'll have to start the dragons first.
I wish the guys from "Beyond Skyrim" would make Elder Scrolls 6.

Khadgar’s Story (Highly Simplified Version):
Khadgar was the apprentice of the Guardian of Tirisfal (A place); Medivh (Med-ee-v). Medivh was possessed by the spirit of Sargeras (Warcraft Satan) and was killed by Khadgar, Anduin Lothar (Hero of the Humans) and Garona Halforcen (Half Orc, Half Draenei (Alien)). He then went through the Dark Portal (How the Orcs Invaded) with others and came back in WoW’s first expansion “Burning Crusade”. He then did nothing for 8 years until “Warlords of Draenor” where he helped lead an exposition into an alternate reality of the Orc’s home (Draenor). Then after that he helped us kill Demons and Imprison WoW Satan. That’s a VERY VERY VERY Short Version of Khadgar’s story.
As someone who's played WoW for years, I think that even that TLDR version is a bit too long and confusing for someone who's never played it xD

Last time I was this late Helgen was ruled by bandits.

You can also choose a 'class' with the realm of lorkhan mod, which will give extra points to certain skills, as well as add a few points to your over all health, magika, or stamina. On top of that, laying beside each class is usually a few good starter items for that type of play style.

heh, way ahead of you with the Realm Of Lorkahn, I already have it installed and I've kept it installed for a very long time. I really appreciate it when I'm making a new character, because I can basically give them my own backstory for them. Not only that, but I'm pretty sure it's available for all platforms as it only uses in-game assets.
Hi Nate. Not sure if you are aware - Apotheosis has an update from 20.12.2019. Worlds are finished and are in playable state. They are now recruiting.
As you have covered this mod in the past I thought you might want to look at it once more. And maybe re-hype the audience once more :-)

I personally prefer Skyrim Unbound Reborn as my alt start mod. You start by making a number of choices in MCM including if you want to be Dragonborn or not, if you want to use discovered shouts without spending a dragon soul (even as non-Dragonborn), starting equipment and spells, even how short or long you have to wait for dragons to start showing up.

Realm of Lorkhan is actually one I am already familiar with, because it was one of the few options for an alternate start on the PS4 lol

For a video about immersion, that little "Nate from the future" bit was rather immersion-breaking. Also, what's that armor mod? That little spot at the Skyforge, the armor you've got on there looks cool.

I feel like it’s still immersive to see multiple of your items all sold to one group of bandits or soldiers if you really think about it. Maybe one of them went to the merchant and bought an item. Then, they went back to all of their friends and was like, “Hey, guys, this dude is selling some really powerful shit.”
Realm of Lorcan is always on my mod list now. It’s even available on PS4 now.
Beyond Skyrim is going to be like a free Elder Scrolls VI

Why no love for Live Another Life? People have made a ton of plugins for it.
City Guard - the example extension provided on the Nexus page for LAL.
Legacy of the Dragonborn - An extension to allow you start as a relic hunter for the mod's museum in Solitude.
Death Alternative - Alternate Start Addon - Various options to start as a slave and/or captive.
Salmon Shack - LAL Version - Start option utilizing MannyGT's Salmon Shack.
New Beginnings - Several new start options

I lost the green dragon priest mask by selling to a merchant on Xbox 360. That was a sad realization when I saw you could combine all the masks into one and could not buy it back from the merchant.

I gotta say, I have watched his Videos in a random order and have noticed that his more recent videos are far slower pace than his older Videos. Which i actually prefer. The video lasts longer it i have an easier time keeping track.

Honestly my only problem with the mod with the sun elves is that they're already wore some owls in the elder scrolls lore they were the kimer which thanks to the acts of the tribunal became the dunmer

Isn't it realistic that a shady merchant would sell multiple items to the same bandit camp? And bandits want good items, so they're more likely to buy your items.

It almost seems to me like its more immersive that you run into three quest items in the same bandit camp. If you were a bandit and walked into a shop and found 3 daedric artifacts, you'd buy them all

I just make and keep a save after getting off the wagon in Helgen. Makes it convenient to jump right into the character creator in my next playthrough.

I dont sell collectibles, i sell junk. The dozen or so steel daggers i got from bandits and the dozen or so iron chest plates wont ruin immersion.
Nate: says that you wont go to the skyrim in full set of daedric armor, you wont be overpowered
Also Nate: stands literally 5 meters from daedric mace in weaponrack, and same distance from renamed rueful axe and shield of ysgramor, both Made highly overpowered xD
I like the last two... um 3. I use a real economy mod that balances the prices by supply and demand, as well as world events and the last two would go great with that. As for Midwood Isle, I'm ALWAYS testing out new areas and expansions and have a few favorites of my own that don't really break immersion.
