I would try and reverse it and have the pump handle facing you. That way you could even possibly pump it holstered.

We used 1/2in polycarb to hold the pump in place. GET SMALL TUBE CONNECTORS! There's not much room inside the shell with full sized Panther tanks.
Would you say a Titan stupid cannon that shoots darts with 9/16 brass inside 1/2 PVC would be good because I am getting everything tomorrow for my birthday.

I've been experimenting with inline shotguns quite a bit lately, ever since I realized I could fire six rounds from my Sledgefire per trigger pull using the faux barrel. If someone is willing to stick the right internals in, a Barrel Break with sufficient power could easily inline two rounds per barrel. It doesn't have to be as insanely powerful as a Panther, either.
Ah, the Barrel Break. A blaster I was extremely excited with as I pulled it from the box, and then immediately disappointed with, with the first firing. Looks good on a wall though...

Man picked up one of these thrifting and I love the action of it. Nerf engineers should really bring this back but with the ability to take and fire the sledgefire shells.

If it's Monday, it must be Tag Back! I love this blaster. It has the cool cosplay, cool roleplay, and if you want to suprise somebody upfront with a secondary up close.. Cool points..

Shotguns in real life are most effective at close range but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work at medium ranges
This is one of the blasters on my wishlist to be a XD with better internals. Talk about actual XD!
This was the first nerf blaster (that I can remember) to fire 2 darts at once without a “Smart AR” system. If Hasbro did it that way you’d end up with the Qi’ra (Solo) blaster with the “Smart AR” removed. [discounting the 2 stage trigger of the barrel brake.

Any one rewatching these videos? I just thrifted a blue barrel break and I was looking for options. (and here we are!). I was thinking of cramming 2 XShot fury4 into BB. The XShot pistols all have a rotation tab on the plunger rod. I am going to try and link the priming mech to the XShot internals. Walcott is right, the BB does look awesome. Any opinions of the mod?

It's elite repaint, not elite internals, so only the color is different. The performance is still that bad.
I found a mod that had 2 Nite Finder priming mechs in one Barrel Break. I think it also used two K26's.

While the stock performance of this blaster was piss poor, the aesthetics of it got me back into Nerf. So I will always appreciate this blaster for that reason.
The sledge fire.
Internal priming, 2 shot capacity. Internal meaning you don't directly interact with the plunger tube/rod, but rather use another part of the gun to do that, like a slide on the Sidestrike, or reflex.
The I means the priming mechanism is internal, the X just to make it look cool, and the two means that it holds 2 darts
My friend and i literally just found one in goodwill, i already had the sonic fire version, so i let him have it.

I used emery boards to take down the logos. Them things the girlies use on their talons. I prefer to think of them as tiny sanding boards, mucho manlier that way when I have to explain why I have them to my pedicurist.

what if you stuck the pump in the handle? that way it would keep the lovely lines of the shell without sacrificing the ability to operate it smoothly. plus you said that you like jolts so it's not all that foreign of a mechanism.

If your thinking about getting a barrel break of these in today's blaster market, nevermind and get a roughcut 2X4 instead; holds more shots, simpler to load, and can match most other stock blasters that are available in stores now.

IX-2: ix, meaning internal power, kinda like the reflex or the scout. ex on the other hand means external power, like the jolt or the fire strike. 2 meaning 2 dart capacity, which explains the designations on clip system blasters: raider cs35 (clip system, 35 dart capacity) for example.
Imagine if Nerf remakes the Barrel Break with a direct-plunger with Elite-style springs? It'd be a good fallback secondary to pair with a Roughcut/Alphatrooper
