I’ve got the M/H rear and when I fitted my first thoughts were this is very stiff, but when on the trails, it was great, awesome in the corners. Running the M/S front. Certainly better than the SC5
Thanks for the comment. I have put about 5 hours on the Med/hard Rear - It is very good and interesting. It is incredibly predictable at speed and in slides - I mean wow. It certainly breaks traction before a gummy tire does - but at 3rd gear + speeds and into corner transitions it is hands down better (as you would expect). The ONLY negative over the SC 5 I can see is a little more weight - but the carcass is much stronger. More testing to come.
@@Bowl.noodle , Thanks for the question. I live in central Oregon - in the summer here it is classic west coast hard pack / desert sand terrain where med/hard is most appropriate.

Why did you choose the starcross 6 med/hard opposed from the med/soft?

What psi you running at?
I start all testing at 12 psi and work my way to 8. Anything less than 8 guarantees a dented rim at my *level*
How was this compared to the irc vx30 you had ?
Im torn between the 2 on a ktm250sx
Mostly trail/hard enduro stuff
