The interesting thing is that James didn't even know much of anything about _Power Rangers,_ _Super Sentai,_ and all the other stuff until fairly recently. He did his "noob's review" of the TV series back in early 2017. He did _this_ review only about a month or two after that. Obviously, he became a fan very quickly. Speaking of which, I do recommend that review, if you haven't already looked at it.
Fun Fact: It took a while for the Super Sentai Series to start going crazy with the Megazord concept, it actually started when Japanese Spiderman came to be which decided for some reason to give Spiderman a giant mecha. And now you know :D

You can tell he really enjoyed making this episode. NES Accessories video is a must see before watching the MMPR episode of AVGN. Funny thing for me is that I was a fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as well as Mighty Morphan Power Rangers back in the early to mid 90s. I also kept track of both series long after my interest died down on those series, but as soon as I knew that there was original Japanese shows that were used in the Power Rangers series I knew I had to check out the Super Sentai series and I really enjoyed Zyuranger as well as Dairanger and Kakuranger, the 3 Super Sentai series that were the original stock footage used in the 3 seasons of Mighty Morphan Power Rangers. Ohranger was used in Power Rangers Zeo Carranger was used in Power Rangers Turbo Megaranger was used in Power Rangers in Space. And so on and so on to this day Saban is still making new seasons of Power Rangers using stock footage and costumes that were used in Toei's Super Sentai series.
I agree w Nerd that falling two feet and dying is BS, considering when the Rangers fell from their Megazord, the 30 story fall did nothing worse than de-morphing them. Heck, in Season 2, Tommy got thrown out of the Tigerzord in his first fight, and didnt even get de-morphed!
Sweden must have had the worst version of power rangers on earth idk who made it but it looks stiff pale plastic and as if they ran out of money mid production. i thought people were idiots for liking power rangers and i do till this day. cus that show was beyond horrible
it depends on what Power Rangers show you're watching becaue if you're talking about the original Mighty Morphin then yeah the only high budget part of it was the japanese action scenes taken from the show Super Sentai, otherwise the og series was extremely low budget and its obvious. Each Power Rangers series is also completely different from one another so of course people are going to like a show that got better somewhat as time went on.

“IT’S MEGAZORD AND DRAGONZORD PLAYING PING PONG!”
I'll admit, I never got into Power Rangers growing up, but still thought the theme was pretty epic lol

The bonus material of the dvd's are in cinemassacre channel too.
Thanks, i will make sure to check them out, for bonus content reaction videos, 😁👍
If you take the lyrics out of his theme song in this video it sounds like a Castlevania song
The intro in this video should be the main intro (but the only replacement i would make is add the theme song in the background)
Have you seen "Power Rangers - a n00b review" by Cinemassacre?
The power rangers avgn remix is the first song i put on my iPhone
You could make any show into a game for the Sega CD if you just copy paste footage
Yeah, Just as fun as making a VHS game tape. 😂
there was one on game gear based on the movie that was decent. I'm surprised he didn't mention it.
He probably didn't have it.
the MMPR game on the Genesis is one of the most easiest game out there, i've beaten it several times, the moves aren't that hard to do really
I hear the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle for PlayStation 4, Xbox One was absolutely dreadful, 😂
@@MynameisCharlie but the genesis game wasn't bad
Awesome
Thanks, 😊👌

I actually searched up when super sentai started and apparently it started in 1975 and it’s still going on to this day
