What a unique idea!! I love the little "scroll" effect for this typewriter. And I also appreciate that you leave your mistakes in...as it causes me to double check, which I rarely do! I've said it before... I love your videos. And I cannot wait to receive my club kits for this month!! Thank you for sharing all your creativeness with us!
Thanks so much, Sherrie! I make a LOT of mistakes... it would take a lot of time to edit it all out. LOL. I get so excited to see it come together that I don't think ahead and I don't double-check. Luckily it's just paper, so usually there's a fix. :)
Great card. I get both the large and small die of the month, and so far, I love it I had problems with the 3 thin strips that fill in the top of the keys. Thanks so much for making it so easy!! DAH! I live the folded paper for the note. TFS
Thanks so much for watching & commenting, Linda! I had a hard time with those keys too. It took a lot of nudging around until I finally figured it out. LOL. 💖
This is a super cool tutorial! UA-cam suggested this video for me. I subscribe to Spellbinders clubs and I really like this little typewriter. Several things I liked about this video....you show your mistakes and how to correct them....love “happy accidents”....it seems that putting that decorative panel on after gluing the card portion into the mechanism is a better way to see exactly how much room you need for the sentiment. Secondly, I saw you using what looks like a fine-tip glue pen? What is that? I need one!! And lastly, I notice you use magnetic strips to hold your dies....it saves so much on your material rather than using a whole sheet where “real estate” gets wasted. Great video and beautiful card! TYFS! New subbie here Michigan ❤️🦋💜
Hi again, Cindy! Thank you for subscribing! 💖 Thank you for the encouragement and feedback on my video. I'm glad it's OK to leave the mistakes in. I make a lot. :) This is the glue pen I used - Sakura Quickie Glue Pen (amzn.to/3AQESTQ) Totally agree about the magnetic strips. There's still enough there to hold everything securely but this way my magnetic sheets last longer. :) Hope you're having a great week!❤
Hi there Cindy. I appreciate your comments and questions. I, too, love the magnetic strips idea. And I also need that glue pen! And I'm also a new subscriber...as her video popped up as a suggestion. I am a Spellbinders club subscriber also and her videos are absolutely wonderful!! I'm going to binge watch! Oh...and I'm also a fellow Michigander...from way up here in the Upper Peninsula!!
