Thank you for this! I was beginning to wonder if I am just a hard case. I listen and listen and have just read The Power of Awareness that I got from the library. It all is so clear and makes so much sense, but it just does not stick. Being a lawyer, I guess you could call me analytically strong.
He reminds me, (in this foto, as an older man) of the actor Michael Rennie. Neville brought to us all, in easy to understand language, principles that can be applied to every situation, used right away -- nothing airy, oddball or nutty..just common sense. He has, to put it mildly, changed the trajectory of my life. Thank you.

I ask you all my brothers, Neville said on one end that imagine the act of fulfillment and on the other end assume the feeling of wish fulfilled having faith in own being i.e.having faith. If one can assume the feeling already without any imaginal act, then this imaginal acts are required or not???

What is meaning of "state" ??
It's a way of being and feeling. Your present / current mood and future as well. As he says in his teachings think of the way u want to be ( a desired state ) and capture the feeling as if it had already happened.
Current state - as u are now
Desired or future state - how u see yourself in the future
Always focus on the desired state.
In chapter 4 of his book " Feeling is the secret" writes ' Get into the spirit of the state desired by assuming the feeling that would be yours were you already the one you want to be.
