Hi Andy, enjoyed that look about the ABI Windermere 2 bed. I do like the exterior finish it looks really modern and sturdy. I have to agree with you regarding storage in living area and the bedrooms it's just a bit sparce for the money. The cabinetry style is nice and bright. Lovely main washroom finish and the ensuite is generous. Unfortunately I'm not able to paddle in that pool the price rules me out😂. Have to say in Ireland these holiday homes are a bad investment for the money, you loose far too much on what's a very big investment initially. Thanks for the shout out, would really love to meet someday. Don't suppose you come to Ireland at all?.
Lovely bright look, and very similar layout to the Beaumont, which I regularly stay in.The Beaumont though is the slightly higher priced one, though which does include the much needed lockers above the beds you mention, and a better layout of dressing table, but I suppose thats where the price difference shows. Still a beautiful lodge though, and nice quality fittings throughout. One thing over the Beaumont I do prefer, is the single half glazed door, looks more sturdy and secure than the fully glazed ' caravan ' style one. Thanks for the video, and the park looked nice too.
Hi Andy, good look around the Windermere. We have just purchased a pre owned ABI Ambleside but there is a odour to it, any suggestions as to what we can use to get rid of the smell in the holiday home please? We’ve given it a good clean but the smell is still lingering.
Hi Alison - how old is the van? Also was that smell present at the time of looking at it? Does the park know the problem i wonder ? Problem is without locating exact source its a hard one - the only suggestion is using plug in freshness they work well with dog smell but that smell needs to be rooted out - check its not damp ie a leak somewhere in shower, new loo and the van itself
@@caravanindustryexpertandyjenk Thanks for your reply. It’s a 2019 model so four years old. We’ve looked for leaks or dampness but can’t locate anything obvious. I’ll try the plug ins and if they don’t help I’ll speak to the park.
