Sometimes I'm so ashamed of my generation. There are millions of people starving, with no clean water to drink, there are so so so many kids who cannot go to school, the sewers who stitched all of the clothes Maddi bought have to work in the poisonous vapors with no protective mask. And all Maddi does is spending hundreds of dollars on clothes when there are people who have nothing at all because they are on the run.
Wow. Maddi, you earn so much money and you have so much influence here on UA-cam. Use it wisely.

Wow, it's really sad to see what this generation has come too. I just find it so weird how everyone is so accepting of her spending over a thousand dollars in just 1 month. It's not like she has bills to pay, she literally spent thousands of dollars alone on clothes and shoes in 1 month. While you guys may praise her now, this will only cause future problems for her. Where is her mom or the rest of their family? How are they okay with this? At the end of the day, she needs discipline. Almost every time she goes shopping her cards get declined because she has spent too much money. Shouldn't that be a sign to maybe stop your spending or keep it to a minimum. I never have heard her save her money in a college fund, or anything for the near future. She has never once said that she's donated her clothes to charity. At the end of the day, her family needs to let her know this is not okay. Sorry to break it you but you tube wont be here forever. Maybe she should get a real job that requires human interaction or something that will give you skills she can keep for a lifetime. It's just really disturbing to see that all these you tubers Always eating out and doing haul videos every other week. You can praise them all you want but some people actually work hard for a living. They save their money, and they always give back to their community. I have not come across a you tuber EVER who saves their money not just for a car or computer or phone but just for cushion in the near future in case anything happens. You rarely see you tubers who donate to charity, and most of them drop out of high school to become home schooled. This is simply ridiculous. My problem isn't just with her, but with 90% of the you tube community that are young adults.

Emily - Actually I wouldn't. With be BEING a high school graduate of 2014 I WORKED my ass off to pay for school. I just finished my first year of college, and if I made enough money as her I would be saving it to help pay for school books and tuition which is almost $30,000 a year.I am deemed middle class so I get EXTREMELY little financial aid. I work all year round to save money for school so I wont have to take out so many loans. So, NO I wouldn't waste my money on material things. Other people have ACTUAL bills to pay and things to do with their lives so that they CAN become successful. Unfortunately I guess me saving up money for school instead of spending it on clothes and shoes is not the NORM in society.
I completely understand the part where she states "youtube won't last forever." because it's the plain truth. I'm not sure entirely if she is saving up for the future but I hope she is because money like that doesn't come in as easily in the real work force unless you score a high paying job. I know it's none of my concern what she does with her money but seeing her have all of these ridiculously high end clothing is baffling because buying things like that proves to be quite difficult in the real world. I just really hope for her own sake that she is aware that this will eventually come to end because nothing will hurt her more than that harsh slap from reality if she isn't prepared.
Her family is rich. I mean how else would her parents let her buy a $20K + car CASH on her own. And let her live in her own apartment.
