    Sold at ASDA for £18 at time of upload this booster seat has a lack of good instructions on inserting and keeping the back inserted into the seat, Here's how to ensure that it doesn't pop out and to make sure you have the 2 reclining positions as promised on the packaging, if you cant set it in 2 positions your haven't got it working right! and that makes it dangerous! Any questions feel free to ask!

    Thank you so much for posting this. Totally essential info to put seat together properly that isn't made clear in instructions that it comes with seat! Luckily I read all the reviews and found this BEFORE going to purchase seat - so I have put seat together without the stress we would have had without finding this. Many thanks

    Hi Adam, only just bought it and still in the box. Glad I watched this first before opening. Do you know how much safety is lost by not being isofix?

    • @the_explorer_adam
      @the_explorer_adam  5 років тому

      I can only assume that it's not alot, otherwise they wouldn't sell it, it seems isofix works better for children below the age of this type of seat as it seemed quiet difficult to get an isofix or a reasonably priced isofix for this 'group' of seats

    • @misterocain
      @misterocain 5 років тому +1

      @@the_explorer_adam Ta Adam. I think you are right because the seatbelt anchors (not relevent to toddler seats) must be just as secure as isofix. Maybe isofix is better to prevent sideway movement. What I liked about the Dreamtime is the claim that submarining below the belt should not happen.

      To be fair we brought only because we kept debating on what was better then this was on offer at Asda as we were doing there and just went, sod it we'll have that

      Pull it up and towards you as your knee is keeping the seat down then your simply pulling them into the holes, pull it hard

    Hi There , I know this car seat has been out a while , got one one of these in the family , have you any videos that explain how to get the upholstery off it (Baby is sick a lot on it ) and can't seem to find a video or manual that explains how to refit the upholstery ? Its confounding my nephew and me and family , can you help , or do you know anyone who has a cleaning this seat video ? Many thanks from me David :)

      I think it just pulls off, the section where the seat belt hooks under above the childs shoulders always has a tendency to come out so undo it there and try pull it ovrr

    • @the_explorer_adam
      @the_explorer_adam  3 роки тому

      Failing that, take the section that's been sick on and run it under a hot tap and massage washing up liquid into it

    • @the_explorer_adam

      Once it's in and about to pop out put your knee in the middle using all your weight then use the handles to pull it up and back into the holes as shown in the video

      As shown in the manual, the top of the belt is hooked onto the hook that is closest to the door which ever side it's on, the bottom half is tucked under the arm rest on the same side, the clip then goes through the other side of the arm rest and clips into its holder. All the seat belt shouldnt be twisted in anyway
