So that's why some VAs in the game are bad in the english version. They just read from books. They need to ACT like in the action in real time, not just read in front of a mic. It's called Voice Acting, for a reason. Grab a sword and swish it around while voice acting the lines. Get that heart pumping, the lungs moving, the muscles tired!

Do JP dub have freedom to change the dialogue? Because sometimes when i read the English subtitle, "Sometimes" it's kinda off from what the JP VA is saying, or it could be the other way around so I'm really confused sometimes.

The game is amazing but maybe you have finally changed the main story writer of the game. Because the plot follows the same pattern: every character falls in love with the main character after the first meeting, it's disgusting and tasteless, there are no interactions between the various game characters, the entire character of the characters is built around the love for the main character so they don't feel alive, it's already boring and uninteresting.
Like many people, I wanted a post-apocalyptic game where characters in the world and the hero fight and overcome difficulties, but I received some kind of love fan fiction from an inept writer. The plot should not revolve only around the main character, he should not solve all the problems, Rover should be a participant in the events and not some omnipotent deity, defeats all difficulties, the world building in CBT1 was much better, change the scriptwriter before it is too late.
"All love Rover"? Is admiration in some, why... do you think admiration is love"? Anyone admired you? 🤔

It was a personal dislike of mine as well how each new character, male or female seems to dote instantly on Rover. I just watched a youtube video speaking of the "future" of WuWa's plot and though it's based off a reddit post, it explained a lot of the culture in the east as it relates to anime. Some such examples are female protag with all male "other" characters....games that ONLY do relationships ("ship") with main character involved so as to not make the player "jealous" (if I read that part correctly) AND most importantly, the fact that Kuro (from their previous game) are KNOWN to do this sort of trope where they create the opportunity for self-insertion by the player into the MC's role so that they can be the center of all attention. Though I've played very little Punishing Grey Raven, I DID notice this right away with the the other characters' developing feelings/respect instantly for the player's character. Point being, this post kinda said..."this is how it is, just so you know" and that upset a lot of people who wanted it to be another way. Personally, I'll give it a little more time because I'm enjoying the story for the most part (aside from the gathering wives aspect) AND more importantly I love the combat and the new mechanics they keep inserting either through new modes or new characters. Eventually I could see this being the very reason I stop playing. Another 6 months to a year might be more than I can handle. That said, the reason they cater to this style of player is that they believe it makes them the most money in the regions that spend the most (China mainly). For that reason, I'm not holding my breath waiting for it to change, I'm just hoping they maybe tone it down a little and/or throw in some interpersonal issues amongst playable characters that doesn't include Rover. Closest we've gotten is probably like Chixia and Yangyang, and even though you can ascertain that they're friends, you also sorta get the impression either of them would stab the other in the back at a moment's notice if it meant Rover's approval, which is just ridiculous.
