Index Fund ending: your transportation company slowly devolves into an investment company where its easier to have the ai build the transportation stuff for you.
You forgot the Rage quite ending: play endlessly for 8 hours and mess up by clicking the wrong thing at the wrong time at the wrong place and build a train station linked with another when you wanted to build a bridge. And you tried to demolish the station but accidentally demolished something else and as you panic your shitty mouse keeps clicking on the wrong thing and you abandon the world in frustration. So you just open UA-cam and watch openttd videos and never think about the eight hours loss (me right now)
Theotown lacks aspects that ottd has clear control of, like control of transportation, enabling you to build metro stations (with mods to be neat of course), the ability to manage multiple cities, and well... *trains*.
Once I found out that you can deliver passengers to your HQ I built a Doom Fortress and enslaved the people of the nation to toil in depths of my evil lair.
I have never not gotten the boring ending.... A few times, my transportation method being ships screwed me over from the NewGRF I was using, because replacing the ships meant only choosing one with higher cargo capacity which ruined my wallet in running costs, despite having a couple billion dollars on hand....I played without inflation from that point on.
I actually posted one of the images here under my Reddit account, that was a surprise to see. This was a pretty cute video! I enjoyed it, I usually end up with a combination of most of these endings at once lol.
Sad Ending: you have enough money to buy High Specs PC, so you can play Transport Fever. Modified ending: you modifying parameter on your mod, making this game going easy for you.
Stuck ending: Somehow, every town's authority hates you and won't let you build stations on any of their tiles. Cheat ending: After going through so much turmoil, you ended up having to enable cheats. It got boring minutes after Annoying ending: After the nonstop urban sprawl growth, all of your railways got blocked by roads and buildings. After destroying some, the local authorities hate you.

did that in Capitalism Lab, only way I could end up on top of the AI
The good ending is so inefficient....oh my

No way you can lose 8 hours progress with a few clicks, unless you did something stupid like have all your trains in one depot and delete them

What's this game? it looks a lot like theotown in terms of graphics and it seems quite interesting
OpenTTD. Basically people wrote an open source clone of Transport Tycoon Deluxe (a DOS game from the 90s) and have been improving it ever since.
