    Thank you for this video! I used this method with great success! I don’t know how many layers I applied but I was doing this for about 2+ hours on my home stove and now my whole wok is nice and black. Looks amazing!
    After the seasoning I did a first fry of green onion, ginger and garlic just to absorb the first metallic taste and everything was sliding around the wok like an ice rink! No sticking at all!

      It's usually enough to coat the outer layer 1-2 times since you don't cook on it. You just want to prevent it from rusting.
