You’re not very bright if you think Howie’s an idiot. During season 7, Will would actively antagonize Howie for being dumb and ugly and other more mean-spirited things. If you watch how Howie generally reacts to this, it is by ignoring it. Howie’s silence, rather than getting mad and lashing back out (which admittedly, he did sometimes do), served to not reinforce Will’s behavior. That’s not how an idiot responds. Furthermore, how being a goofball isn’t reflective of Howie’s intelligence at all. You can see how quickly he snaps out of being goofy when he needs to talk game. And he was almost always right whenever he’d speak to Janelle, Kaysar, James in season 7. If you think Howie’s an idiot, then either you haven’t seen him play the game, or YOU’RE an idiot. It seems like you’re a fan of Dr. Will. So I’m just gonna throw this out there… Will is not as cunning as most believe. Yes, he won season 2 (back before POV even existed and the game was still being developed) but during season 7 he primarily just floated and talked a huge game. He didn’t actually do anything… just HAPPENING to make it pretty far while other players take shots at folks other than yourself, MERELY BECAUSE they are not scared of you, does not make you a good player. And for the record, Janelle made it very clear on multiple occasions that the reason she did not target will was because she knew he was weak… which he was. Being an intelligent person doesn’t make you the GOAT of big brother. And before you make the argument that floating is a good strategy, let me refute it. Will was not strategically floating. DAN strategically floated. Nicole strategically floated. Floating because that’s all you can do and floating by as a result of meticulously carried out strategy are two entirely different things.

If Will did not misplay the Final 4 round (admitedly his fault), Erika did not do some great work in taking advantage of that, or anyone but Janelle won Final 4 veto (Erika even admits she would have voted out Janelle if she won it) the Final 3 if Janelle/Will/Boogie. Both Janelle and Boogie would have willingly taken Will and lost badly, rather than take each other and have a chance to win. Boogie obviously takes Will over Erika too. Erika probably takes Boogie, but she did so horribly on Part 3 which already happened we already know she doesn't win final HOH no matter what. Also to put it into more perspective if anyone but Janelle wins Final 4 veto and Will does not misplay the hours before the vote + Erika do her best work ever in her own strong BB career, Will wins Big Brother for the second time. He in reality was extremely close to winning All Stars, and much closer than anyone else was to winning a second season considering Dan was a jury goat who loses to everyone on Big Brother 14, Nicole was never winning Big Brother 22 considering she would have taken Cody if she won final HOH, Paul probably isn't even on BB19 if he won BB18 and he didn't win either time anyway, only Jordan ironically of all people comes as close as Will to winning twice. Janelle was happy to take Will to Final 2 if she could and lose the game, which while you might be right that Will is overrated by some, is hardly a negative on Will, and bigtime a negative on Janelle. Atleast Boogie has the excuse he was his real life bff at the time.

Granted he is a mediocre BB player but who cares when he is one of the most iconic characters and people ever on the show, and yes as a human being he is definitely not dumb despite playing or coming across that way partly on purpose.
